gen7nnb Posted 7 January 2013 Author Report Posted 7 January 2013 (edited) Thanks. It looks ok, couple of little blemishes but hopefully the wet sanding will get the majority out. Edited 7 January 2013 by gen7nnb

a_dragon_jai Posted 7 January 2013 Report Posted 7 January 2013 hi may i ask why you wet sanding after spraying? is it always required? also what paoers do you ise and do you wetsand the whole area or just the imperfect ones? thanks
gen7nnb Posted 7 January 2013 Author Report Posted 7 January 2013 After spraying, you initially end up with an imperfect, sort of speckled surface. You need to use a very fine wet and dry paper along with some soapy water to smooth the surface down. However, you will then be left with a dull finish so you then need to use a cutting polish to bring back the shine the the surface. I haven't yet got it perfect but some of the parts I have done have come out fairly nice! As with what areas you need to wet sand, it is all of it but if there are major imperfections you may need to take right back and re-do. I used just 1200 grit wet and dry for this but really I should've gone with a finer grade after that but don' have any.
