joe588
I have bought a few low millage cars from these types, 1991 corolla with 1 owner from new same shops only story and full service history, 35k but as the car had never seen a motorway......after a few weeks of driving every day and a few motorway journeys at 60mph the engine had it same with a 1998 fiesta again 1 owner 25k full service history engine blew up on motorway (that car had never even seen a roundabout) Low miles is good for a museum or a car show but not if you then want to turn it into a daily car Not a toyota, but we had a 92 civic in at work with 30k on it! Mint inside, full of holes on the outside

Sherv
Haven't got the lowest gen4 mile-wise on here but as an example, mines a 25 yr old 1987 car with 111k on the original engine...not too bad.Anyway the Yamaha- derived 2 litre twincam 3sge isn't run in til its done 100k ,mine still gets its bum smacked from time to time and its still running happily. Not sure on the miles on the other guys gen4 s,Adys has done less,SteveCs might have less miles...though his looks like its got delivery mileage on it LOL.ill check it out.interesting thread mate Edited September 14, 2012 by thesherv
