Sunvisors and surround being painted:

The sunvisors come out amazingly, kind of looks like fake leather once painted on one side!

How did you get this off, is it just clipped on all the way round like the three clips you see sitting in the back seats?

If its anything like the 6 you have to remove practically all the interior panels.

It would help to remove the rear two window surrounds, but you dont have to...

1. Remove Sunvisors (2 x screws on the outer sides and 1 in the clip)

2. Pull out clips

3. Remove light unit (unscrews, pull off, unplug)

4. Remove 3 push plug things in the back on the roof (flat screwdriver, pull)

5. Pull top of the window surrounds back at the top, remove the two coat hangers (flat screwdriver to open, then crosshead screw), then the plastic pulls back.

6. Each side has a screw plug in the headlining.

7. With the boot open, you can slide it back but its not as easy as you think as it gets caught on the sides, so take it slow and adjust it out as required.

Putting it back in is harder as you have to slide it through the smaller boot opening, get it through the plastics.etc. But very worth while, i love the finish on this, came out so much better than i was expecting - i definately recommend it!

Sorry for the thread revival, but what spray did you use? The fabric spray? As linked above?

Si.

Just re trim it.

VHT spray glue + 2 m2 of material of your choice.

It looks swish. Check out my mod thread for the results. :)
