- under car lighting

- footwell/boot lighting

- daytime lights

I ask because they are set up in such a way to be as simple as cut to length, connect to power, jobs a goodun. Good be some good cheaps mods there if they are bright enough, but thats why i ask...

If I read the IP65 waterproof code correctly its dust-tight and states;

"Water projected by a nozzle (6.3mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.

Test duration: at least 3 minutes

Water volume: 12.5 litres per minute

Pressure: 30 kN/m² at distance of 3m"

Should OK on the outside aswell if you ask me

Be careful with all these "halo" things.

I had halo headlights in my old Escort (Don't laugh) and they were weak as piss water, only powered by a single little LED thing at the bottom of the ring, hoping to illuminate all around the halo, didn't happen unless it was 1am and completely pitch black.

Saying that, if you did get some that worked like the BMW ones where the WHOLE HALO is completely lit up... i'd be interested.

I like neons, it's a great way to visually enhance the look of your car. Shows like top gear use undercar lighting and it's not done in such a way that make you look like a tosser. Just don't drive around with them switched on! I think theirs a gen 6 and a gen 7 on here with undercar lighting and they look awesome!

I am not buying ready made halos, or a kit. my plan was to just bend the strip in a circle, and wire it t side lights, bish, bash bsh job done!

this method will not be a solid circle, be more of a range rover halo.

i rdered them yesterday. i have a spare headlight unit to practise on, so when they arrive ill see what i can do. ideally the leds are brigth enough to see during daylight (fingers crossed)

as for undercar lighting i wouldnt drive around with it, it would be just for show. dunno what colour i would go for though...
