wolverine1984
Going to do an oil change soon and was going to get my oil from Euro Car Parts as my work allows me a trade discount there as they do a lot of business with us. So which oil would you get (my car's a 96 SSII) Shell Helix HX7 10w40 : http://www.eurocarpa...72251&0&cc5_245 Castrol Magnatec 10W40 : http://www.eurocarpa...71951&0&cc5_245 or there own brand TRIPLE QX 10w40 : http://www.eurocarpa...76011&0&cc5_245 or something else they sell? Thanks Edited January 29, 2012 by wolverine1984
Kev 16v
Quality wise, I doubt there would be a great deal of difference between the three apart from price. So, personally, i'd opt for the QX.
GTsillycar
I use Magnatec in mine and have done for years, it's not the best on the market but i'm more than happy with it.
wolverine1984
I assume they're all perfectly acceptable oils to use then?
bigstring
It's a gen 6, you could use crude oil and it would be fine but all the above are fine.
