You could always go on to the gen 6 / 7 threads and count the problem threads? see who has more posts on problems? :xmas_wink:

It's not about which Gen is the best it's about pulling together and being a club full of friends who all like the CELICA!

TBF the Gen7, for the most part, is a very reliable steed. It's not got huge amounts of mmajor issues. Of the issues it does have, many can be avoided by simply buying the right example in the first place. It's certainly still less likely to let you down than the vast majority of other cars.

a GT4 powered lada riva is sure to make a few peoples eyes pop out

now that would be funny,i remember that ford transit van with a jag xj220 lump in it on top gear,was crazy lol you know i may just keep mine

I love nothing more than a wolf in sheeps clothing :P

I got obliterated in the gen 6 a few years ago by a sciecento piece of junk....chassed the guy down and jumped out my car and told him to open the bonnet (think he though i was gonna stab him for overtaking me :P)

he had a fiat uno turbo engine under the bonnet :D

i remember them tin cans,and the renault 5 turbos,quick little motors,and as far as pugs go i remember the 205 gti 1.9 wasnt a bad car for a french motor,only one ive ever liked anyway,i remember my mates dad picking up a brand new rs2000 escort from ford dealer and being in it kanein it on way home,i was only young then and thought it was well quick back then,ive been done by a nova before in my frist celica gt,was gutted lol but he had a red top 2.0 lump in it and a roll cage

friend of mine has a calibra V6 in his corsa B, can take me on the straights but laughable how slow he needs to corner :P

back on topic does it have to be a celica you get or would another car do, what about another toyota???
