Mines going on for 160k just had a new clutch fitted not to long ago, it made a huge difference in how my celica drove, alot smoother an quicker:-). Just saving up for a brake overhaul at the moment. Keep it mate, like what's just been said its cheaper then getting a new car,an much much better in many ways:-D

yer think i will get the clutch done this week maybe,do you think standerd clutch would be alrite or go for a uprated one?

uprated one is all fine and well...but do you REALLY need it? extra cost for little gain, really. You can get the oem one installed at mr.clutch for £250...

already have a standerd one brand new sitting in its box in the garage, brought it off a member ages ago for 60 quid...but didnt know if it would be worth going for something else, any gain with a fidanza fly wheel ?

ive heard mixed things about lightened fly wheels, good for racing but rubbish in traffic...which is all we fucking get down here. Give me the roads in the north any day...much smoother, not as busy, people don't drive like complete whoppers...aaah <3

hmmm sounds like it could be a real ball ache in traffic (which is 90% the time) maybe not a good idea then, maybe a new standerd job ?

I went standard, as I wont be doing track days in mine. I wanted the reliability an not the hastle of having a upgraded clutch an flywheel. I got fitted for 320 I where happy with and still am:-)

how much am i looking at for new standerd fly wheel

Look after it and it'll most likely last another 3 years and more. REbuild it and you'll easily get another 10+ out of it.

i looked at getting a full rebiuld done on my st182 its done 180k still running sweet tho.

full rebiuld up here local place is around 500 quid. well worth it on the gen6.

less hastle then a change you never know what you have until its fitted.
