Dan23
Because you know 100% the work has been done and you know who's done it, plus the work has JUST been done. And it turns a possible 'breaker' into a good car again. but in reality as a faff owner you know it wouldnt start with stock parts, you'd go ah uprate this cos of more power, up rate that cos of more power, before you know it you're spending Car = £1500 New clutch £1100 Lower arms + Fig8's = £600 Full service with all new leads £350 Cambelt £300? Front brakes + Back brakes £600 Total = £4150
Sawyer
If your after a standard car (which this one advertised is) then replacing with standard parts would be fine. Some people actually want a standard car. If your chasing power (which not all faff owners are) then it would obviously be more economical to buy a modified one in the first place. Your theory could be placed to *any* car. Edited July 29, 2011 by Sawyer
