GT4 prices

It may well be my imagination, but GT4 prices on Ebay seem to be falling out of the sky. I've just seen a couple of nice examples that went for £1200 and £1600, and the ones around the £2500-£4000 range don't seem to sell.

Possibly the cost of petrol, but it's a sore temptation to get one as a second car, especially when I've been quoted just £210 for fully comp insurance.

Yer prices are falling due to fact that a lot of younger people think wow a 4wd turbo coupe for less than £3K

They buy it only to discover its a £3K car to buy but a £30K car to run and maintain.

When they get a unexpected bill like fig 8's or clutch its a shock as majority didnt do any research.

So they have a car they cant afford to fix so sell on stupidly cheap - this in turn makes good examples look overpriced and hard to sell.

Only buy a well sorted one and dont expect a decent one for less than £2K unless you drop on

It's just reflective of the times and no different to it's ever been. Once things like 'recessions' hit, unecessary pleasures like cars that cost a whole shit load to run and maintain come down in value. Plus, as much as WE love them, they're an enthusiast car and an ageing one at that (looks awesome still though).

got to face it... the model is getting old and years ago these cars would be seen as a cheap car with huge performance but with fuel prices so high and as mentioned the maintenance required to keep em running they are getting less and less sort after. i suppose once the numbers of cars get low the price will inflate as enthusiasts will be buying them up.

I would snap one up if it were not for the running costs, but yes some tidy ones about, but then again look at the Scoobs and Evo's on there?
