I enjoy driving our TT but it does feel clinical compared to either of the Celicas and certainly doesn't even come close to being as much fun!

Shaun is an absolute superstar and everything he has helped me with has been amazing.
I am very lucky to have such a generous and talented Celica lover nearby!

I took the 165 4x4 box out on the drive mate, I have the means to get her up high enough to do the job Ben.
Have done quite a few clutches on this drive to. Can get the hoist to help make it easier also you know i have all the kit needed
Such a kind offer, thank you. I will get the clutch ordered.

Wow! That would be amazing Shaun, thank you. I was thinking it would be an up on the car lift type job. I will get shopping.Around 250 mate.
Unless you wont to spend a day down hear mate and ile do it for you then it will only cost you parts.
Depending how quick you need it doing.
Sorry Derren. I've never ventured into this section before...Moved to Consumables Ben,anyway you're not a Newbie you're a regular show star
That's a generous offer from Shaun, and you also know he'll do it right too
I'm guessing this would be ok?

Hi
Roughly how much should I expect to pay to have the clutch replaced on my 190?
I have no idea...
Thank you

Gen 4s have 54.1mm centre bore too.

Not so much a comment but as a bloke in a very nice F-Type rolled past me in traffic today he was admiring my car almost as much as I was admiring his and topped it off with an approving nod.

I would've thought only the latest counts as having an MOT failure means your car is essentially not safe for road use. But apparently not.
Exactly what I thought too.

Gorgeous car!
Super-rare. I think most of the Gen 4 boys would happily add this one to their collection if funds allowed.

Definately a good day.
Big thanks to Doug for his ingenious repair to my horn.
Mini-convoy of Gen 5s on the way home was very cool too. I was in front for about two seconds...

I have managed to get one for each car and never even thought about there being a problem with them being there...
Both were posted too!
As Carla said, Lex is your man for all things flare related!

I had a special moment with another black Gen 5 the other day.
Involved a nod and a smile as we pulled alongside one another at the lights...beautiful...

I take it the car is parked outside with a decent ad in the window?
It's free and you never know.
This has worked for me with two Celicas and three vans.

I bought Mondo's set and I like them ALOT!
They do look good on the older Gens.

Thank you.

Hi
Does anyone know if they are interchangable between Gens?
The rubber bit has perished on my wiper blades so I ordered a sexy-looking set of flat Aero blades, apparently for a Gen 4. My Dad popped round today and we fitted a new set on his Civic which promted me to actually look at the fittings on mine. I was expecting a hook-type fitting so I could take the old wiper off and simply fit the new Aero-blades. However, the wiper arm and fitting and blade all appear to be one single unit, making it difficult to change!
Am I being a complete wally or am I going to have to replace the whole arm?! I've never had to do that on a car before...
Thanks.
Ben.

Had a look on ebay for cheap short term replacement?

Mine is booked in next week to probably have bearings done.
I'll let you know what it cost me.
Ben

Hope you get it sorted.
Sooooo frustrating when something like this happens.
What a dick.

85865 miles. Not bad on a 25 year old car...

Do u mind me asking how much u paid for it, Ben?
Just to get an idea of the going rate for these rare Tonneaus
I think it was around £120. I just remember deciding I'd bid whatever it took to win it as I had to have it.

nope sorry , keep your eyes open though, one turned up on ebay last year so might be lucky
Yep, and now it's all mine!
