After watching this fiter review I'm a little concerned. Take a close look at the three Toyota filters that have the same part number, but vary greatly in their build quality.

...just bought a disclock, shouldn't have to...
You could also consider buying one of those Snap-Off steering wheel kits.
-
VentureShield is another company that does paint protection.

Have a look at any markings (text) that are printed on the inside of the plastics. You might see PP which means it's Polypropylene, then you can Google the best way to fix it.
Here is a PDF file to help you.

Just stumbled upon this online version of the popular EPC that some of you already have installed on your computer.
Just type in your VIN number and you will be rewarded with parts diagrams and part numbers for your celica.

Don't forget to add the VAT and Royal Mail £8.00 processing fee to your calculations or those cheaper stateside goods could end up being more expensive than buying them here in the UK.

It's possible to completely strip and rebuild toyota locks/barrels, I did it to mine. Just make sure the pins go back in the same order they were in.
-
Paintshield or Venture Shield is probably the best option.

That's a shame, there doesn't seem to be any info' for pre' 1994 celica's.

If you don't mind doing some more welding, flexi joints are available via eBay.
Edit:
Just found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item43b460077b

...tidy, low mileage, but really?
I certainly wouldn't pay that for an ST model with only an 1800cc engine, much better to go for the two litre GT version.

For those of you that didn't buy this book when it was first published - like me - now is the time to treat yourself to an early Christmas present.
I have just received a paperback copy via Amazon for about the same price as a gallon of petrol, £5.28 inc' p&p. Original cover price was £19.99, so this is a great saving and I can't see it getting much cheaper.

P2000 paper, followed with liquid Brasso. I removed the Toyota logo from the black plastic bonnet grille on my Gen' 5, so it should work just as well on your lights.
Find an old worn CD case and practice the technique first to see if you're happy with the finished result.

all our old 162s i believe came with 195/60 /r14s both derrens pre facelift and my facelift had them fitted...
Yes, mine too. I was a big fan of the Yokohama brand when I had my Gen' 4.

Digitalman, are we talking lots of rust here ? In which case the only way to remove it is by wire brush, sand blasting or you could try some of Bilt Hamber's rust removing gel called "Deox-Gel".
Using the gel would mean that you could leave the calipers connected to the car. Remove the loose rust, smother in gel, wrap cling film around the caliper so the gel doesn't dry out overnight and 24 hours later you should have a clean rust free caliper.

...and apply the brakes moderately a few times during the journey to remove any rust from the discs.

'jasonskyring' should be able to answer that question.
