  2. Lol oh dear. total : 2.174 average : 0.43479999999999996
  3. oh well, i guess we could make sweet love and neither of us would be gay
  4. Pahaha, you never mentioned that before! Got any pics? i've had this discussion at great length and i have come to the conclusion that you're gayer if you give it. Taking, you can just close your eyes and think of england where as the giving, you'll actually have to be aroused to manage it.
  5. Nahhh, think they look hideous. Then again, I don't like any 'show cars' so my opinion is a bit pointless! Go for it if you like them, your car!
  6. Here you go. he's on here under the same name too. http://www.gt4oc.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=118564
  7. Dunno, but rays make some of the best alloy wheels in the world so I reckon they'll be alright! Normally retail for about 130 a set.
  8. Johnyboy19** is selling a set of black rays nuts for 35 quid.
  9. Hmm for that price you could probably get a ticket over there and bring it back yourself. Have you tried RHD japan? Think they bung as much stuff as they can in a box and you pay a flat rate?
  10. Lol got to agree here. Won't they lock in heat causing brake fade?
  11. I thought water pump but wouldn't that just stop working then overheat? The cambelt wasn't done so long ago so hopefully it was done then. the bolt was nearly perfectly round, that's why it wouldn't come out
  12. Still no luck. Had it running for two hours before and it still didn't start flowing. got a bit of steam from the rad at least Fans didn't come on either. I reckon my radiator has a blockage. strange as it's nearly new.
  13. Do loads of thin coats or it looks pap.
  14. Hmm, i'd give it a good service, replace everything and see how it goes. You could get a standalone ecu and have it mapped by someone good, that should see more MPG and slight power increase. Expensive though.
  15. Yup, top one looks better except the wing. There's a 15 page thread about this in the stickies
  16. Yeah, I put the cap back on then went for a 10 minute spin and when I'd got back the level had dropped a bit. I didn't flush it no, should have done but I'd already cut the alternator belt off when I realised I only had a litre of antifreeze so couldn't lose much coolant! The thermostat did actually open, the bottom pipe stayed cold then turned warm. I'll give it a proper flush and see what happens.
  17. Right got it out finally. but now something else, i've popped the dipstick tube out of the engine block some how! What do I do now? it was pretty loose to start off with, is it meant to be like this? is oil going to fly out of the hole? Have I fucked it No worries, apparently you just push it back in according to the gt4oc. --- I was running my car to get the airbubbles out and it never really seemed to get warm, what's wrong? Bubbles stopped but the water at the top of the rad was only luke warm and after 20 minutes it never started flowing across like normal? Is this thermostat knackered or something? It's brand new. Car said it was at normal temp.
  18. I'll try it, what would I use to turn it though?
  19. Sorry to crosspost, but I really need this fixing tomorrow morning and it's something that can be answered by all gens The bolt on the alternator tensioner pulley is completely round, I've tried molegrips etc etc etc and it won't budge. Can I just cut the belt off, remove the alternator and tensioner then replace the knackered bolt off the car? Will this work? I don't want to cut the belt for no reason if you can't remove the tensioner or something
  20. Maybe you could fit the 205 rack? that's a lot more responsive. Might not work without the superstrut though.
  21. don't think any celica has an ecu capable of reprogramming. Gen 7 might, fairly sure it doesn't though. But yeah, if you can you might see some slight gains, watch who's doing it though as you don't want a knackered engine. Turbo engines are easier to get bigger gains from.
  22. Heh, it's not too bad really, though more than I'd like. I pay 1083 fully comp, all mods declared. I had a gen 5 gt at 18, then a gen 5 gt-four at 20, now I have the gen 6 gt-four. The gen 5 gt4 only cost about 600-700 quid a year to insure, which wasn't bad and at that time I was getting quotes on the gen 6 gt4 for aboiut 900. The mods bumped it up this year by about 150 though. Where you from then, workington? Some nice roads around there, good for a burn about! Plus you're near camskill incase your car breaks down. Excellent!
