The 2 above are the same car just with the wheels powdercoated a different colour
But you probably was aware
-
Yes it does have projector lights but i meant in overall appearence with the alloys , carbon touches ect.
Now these might not be to everyones tastes but if i was after or had a white 205 thats how id want it to look.
Yes projector lights are around £300 - usually more on here - but literally the difference between them & stock is like night and day.
If anyone is wanting some there are some members on other forums from ireland who say they can source them for 300 euros.
Obviously there is jimmy's , marks , ferdy's & toms to take inspiration from if you go white.
Put up a wanted ad - not everyone will read this but if they know you want a white 205 then people who are considering selling will pipe up
-
And this is what a set of clocks and touches like handbrake / gearknob and leather gaitors can make along with better seats
And you could find one with recaros as standard
And from stock can that be done with the following?
Clocks from mook £90
Bit of hexis wrap for the dash bits - not that much
Set of 2nd hand recaro or similar - max £500
subframes from nzkw on ebay £150 pair
?
Arent those headlights about £300+ alone?
ive not mentioned headlights in my list - my list refers to bits to brighten up the interior
-
Yes the stock seats in the 6 are crap but for me the 7 ones are not much better and dont hold you properly during spirited driving.
However the 7 is more modern inside but it is a generation on from the 6.
The 6 has better materials and build inside but it is a ocean of black but it doesnt cost ££££ to sort out.

so whilst not exactly cheap its not going to cost thousands.
Yes if you want mondo to add his magic it will add up but quality costs
This is what you want to aim for with a white 205

Its not something you would really think to check but along with both of mine there have been about 5 or 6 others gone that i know of in a 12 month period.
TCB are turning them out at a special price at mo so worth checking your own to be sure
Was looking at this one earlier - seems good value for a 97 car.
usetheforce has his red late spec 98 car up for sale but its red not white - but look at Ita's for inspiration.
-
Aye but have you checked your fuel pipes on yours - i wager that my 40'000 mile car is probably in better condition than most GT4's yet mine still corroded away as its something that cant be helped.
Still stand by my previous that Robs old car is the best white 205 ive ever seen and ive seen a fair few.
-
Its finding a good one now - Robs was a proven car with the right mods to transform it into a proper fast road weapon.
-
Obviously a £1500 is not going to be the best but they like most cars that dont offer great mpg are very cheap at moment.
When they offer a similar mpg to a twin turbo version people simply buy the turbo unless insurance / temptation to go crazy is too much
-
can pick up the NA versions from £1500
-
If you have a scout round you still might find the AA man - if he drove you back to Maltby his van will have been on bricks once he stopped at 1st set of lights
-
He was in manchester but lives in rotherham - long way to be towed unless done properly
-
No point in spending silly money on a alloy one thats not needed or owt like that - 2nd hand oem is what you want
-
ams should have a rad
-
Whilst i agree a nice white 205 is a nice car by jesus they are as common as muck
If i didnt have grey it would have to be a black one
-
Too late its sold to a bloke in mansfield
went yesterday
grey one still for sale though

Considered a mk2 MR2 ??
Both RWD , both Toyotas , both have no really small boots and as rear seats are so bloody silly in the supra you could class both as 2 seaters.
I know this is way over budget but looks sweet

That's the model I drive. The big diesel engine does a good job, I think Clarkson described it as a 'warm hatch' (as opposed to a hot hatch) which is fair for performance but it's absolutely solid as well. Nothing has gone wrong on mine since I brought it. But then it's a Toyota. Mind you, there have been five recalls of one kind or another over the last two years.
Id put one of these on

Nearly 400lb ft torque
-
I like the later ST246 but this is just far too similar to a stock avensis for me plus amongst the most hideous of all toyota interiors
-
Ah ignore my last then
If i was going Toyota and had to fit 3 kids id have one of these - for me much better looking than the awful corolla
-
Its got to be able to fit 3 kids in the back - so the above cars are ruled out

No matter what car you have there will always be something better out there.
Id never sell my 4 as other than a porsche 911 it has always been my dream car and when i worked at toyota and the 205 came out in 94 when i was 18 i always promised myself id have one.
Ive had a 7 and it was a good car once id finished with it but whilst a more modern car inside they aint screwed together as well and for me the styling of the 6 looks as fresh today as it did when it came out where as the 7 despite being a good looking car looks more dated in some ways as angular styling seems to have gone out of fashion again.
If we all thought same certainly be a boring place
