Recently purchased a T-Sport and am really into it - quite the upgrade from a SOHC Carbed Nissan Sunny.

 

Been doing my reading from various sources (read:YouTube and Facebook comments) and came across some comments about staying away from Supermarket petrol. Is this a thing?

 

The argument about additives not present in Asda, Tesco petrol etc. seems to rage on and I even saw a couple of petrol station attendants suggest there's no difference to what you'd get at Esso or Texaco.

 

Also, petrol grade - is it true you get better MPG from buying premium stuff?
