Guys just a thought.
Is this worth doing or even need doing?
I know when I had my fto it needed doing, but totally different kettle of fish I guess. Just thinking I’m going to keeping the car a good while so I wanted to look after her.
Price is approx £350 so not cheap but if it needs doing then I guess it’s a necessity.
Appreciate any advice.
Yeah I’ll try that next time.... isn’t the front and back the same height though... so I could potentially hit the exhaust.... or have i got that wrong?
Cheers guys, I rent so cement idea wouldn’t work lol
I always reverse in anyway....
Prob just going to have to accept that I’ll have to put these planks out each time I have to reverse into the garage, not the end of the world I guess just really annoying.
Wood didn’t work... drive over it and it snapped and the front bumper hit the road again
My only options I have are to raise the height a bit, so buy new springs and get them fitted or invest in something that actually works (but has to otherwise be a waste of money).
Heres some pics of my car and the ride height. Does anyone have any idea what size springs I need to get to raise the height? I’ve spoken to a garage and they weren’t sure. I don’t want to buy some springs and find out their the wrong type.
Yeah I’ll try that mate I think... prob is I don’t know anyone who would have any wood I could pinch. Is B&Q best for that do you think?
I rent the house so there’s no chance that would happen
So when I went to reverse the car in the garage last night the front end scraped the floor as she’s quite low down and there’s a dip in the road (see pic below). It’s really minor mind so I’m hoping a cheap fix.
I was hoping to pop out today and pick something up to act like a ramp that I could put down and put away everytime I go to use the garage.
Has anyone else had the same issue or does anyone recommend anything? I was thinking maybe some wood either side lining up to the tyres which I could drive over?
Appreciate any advice.
