How do you reset the ECU?
When I tried V power it didn't seem to like it.

Turned out that I hadn't shut the boot properly after drying.
Sorry for wasting your time.

Just washed my car and for some reason it's now not locking with fobs?
It's unlocking fine but I'm having to lock it with the door lock.
Any advice please?
Many thanks

This is an interesting thread for a Celica newbie like myself.
I bought a Gen 7 Gt at the back end of last year with only 45,000 on the clock and with FTSH. In fact it had interim sevice every year after only 3,000 miles and i was considering keeping it going with Toyota so i questioned it with my Brother inlaw who owns a very good independent garage and he quoted me about £100 cheaper(mates rates) and i trust them to do a good job.
So now i'm wondering if it's really worth paying the extra with Toyota when i know my Bro inlaw wont rip me off and will put everything back to normal? And i could supply him with the parts myself which would probably make it even cheaper?
