  1. I know what you mean. I've never taken any of my previous cars to dealerships for servicing, this would be a first. The car is well maintained and with 120k being a major service, I'd like to get in done 'properly'. The car doesn't have a fully stamped service book (think dealer servicing went up to 60/70k) with the rest being garages/independents. With Celica values going down, I'm unlikely to ever sell this so I'm definitely not doing the service for the stamps or resale value.

It's more for a 'proper' service but I'm unsure what value I'd be getting for £400+.

Options are to either go ahead with the Toyota Full + service for £400+ and hope for the best or take the car to a specialist like Ams who'd know exactly what to look out for at 120k, probably knows the car better and will likely be much cheaper.

    Decisions decisions.

Do any of the Jemca dealerships honor the 10% you get off for being part of a forum?

  2. The prices above aren't bad.

I checked recently and they quoted £390 for a Full+ for our Celica's as per below:

I've just recently bought my car and it's just ticked over 120k mileage. It's been pretty well maintained and I do want to give it a proper once-over. If I do decide to go with Toyota for the big 120k service, I likely won't do it again (and continue to service it myself like I usually do).

I know that the pricing doesn't really work no matter how big the service is but the lady on the phone did tell me that they change both the Fuel Filter and the Gearbox Oil, thing's I'd struggle to do on my own.

Does anyone else have any experience with Toyota servicing? Anything good to say about them?
