Same problem as me then mate...gonna order a roller next week.Had to take my rear ones back off due to rubbing the arch . Mine are 25 mm with 215/45/17s. Going to roll the arches my self when the roller gets hear

Let me know how you get on with it..have you got a roller? 27mm is wide, what size tyres do you have.
-
It's not hitting all the time just the once that I had 3 up...just gonna be the 2 of us from now on..lolJust take the rear spacers off then at least it wont catch on the arch and you can wait until the right time to either buy new tyres, new spacers or have the arches rolled.
Was contemplating taking them off but think I'll just go with less weight option as I don't think I can deal with sunken wheels again.

Gonna have to put it on hold for a few weeks now and only carry 1 passenger for now as just booked in to have the windows tinted [emoji1]

I've watched a few demos now and they all use a heat gun, I guess it makes the paint and metal a little more flexible. Even if the paint looks fine with no cracks it's worth painting the lip just to play safe.this is where the heatgun comes into play, just heat the paint enough for it to not crack when rolling. people forget about the paint behind the arch and this causes rust in no time, i wood have them treated after doing it.

Cheers mate, have heard some horror stories. I think the art is to take is slow and not rush it.Make sure its done right. Seen various cars with rusty arches as a result of bad arch rolling jobs

Lol threw away my bat last year. May have someone to do it if not I'll buy a roller and do it myself...forgot to take into consideration that I have 215/45/17's when ordering 25mm spacers...lol
-
I have seen them mate but not sure I've got the nerve to do it..will have to buy a heat gun also.you can buy an arch roller off of ebay for the price you wood be charged to get it done, fairly straight forward to do.

Does anyone know of any companies in or near Bristol that do arch rolling. Getting slight contact with 25mm rear spacers. If all fails I will have to turn them down to around 22mm.
Thanks

I think gold behind the grey wheels will look ok. Red is a little popular..bronze would be my ideal colour but I would need to get them anodised.

O yes baz..love the look of the silver against the black when they bed in..still not decided on a caliper colour. It's between red or gold at the moment.

Always a lot of satisfaction when you spend hours doing something and get a good final result.

That would be a dream...saying that even a garage would be a good start.Next investment......a double garage!

Took today of to do my brake calipers but all its done is rain. At least I got my caps done, one less thing to do. Here's the finished product, really pleased with the result and mooks graphics are spot on.always the way mate , last year i had my engine plastics which really wasnt properly ready till a few weeks after japfest as they looked more brown than the red a month after (amazing what time does on paint hehe) , and i was supposed to have a exhaust fitted but didnt manage to get it done wheras now its all coming together over a few years ...may not have any serious big mods apart from the exhaust but as toyota said built by toyota improved by me , my engine bay took hours to do and my meshed bumper looks different .

Had my grooved and dimpled discs with mintex pads on 3 days now and they are just starting to bed in. The black coating has come off the faces now and i reckon it looks great. Already they feel better than the stock , mind you my old set was well worn even when I bought the car.
