Led side lights
-
In all fairness they're the only bulbs that have lasted for ages without blowing a single SMD on them. Every ebay one I've had has had some sort of SMD failure on them, whether it's one SMD on a bulb or a whole side gone. These ones are still going strong and have a lovely pure white light to them.
You can get warm light LED's too. Basically SMD LED bulbs, very bright, but have a golden hue to them so they're almost OEM. Good for replacement side light bulbs if you're not considering HID's as a counterpart.
Following your recommendation I ordered a set and now they are here , I'll be collecting a headlight from Ams tomorrow then it'll be time to fit it all up

This thread will probably fall flat on its arse but here we go
So I've had my celica Gen 7 for a number of months now and have seen quite a wide range of people driving them, this interests me as I think most cars have an almost predefined customer/owner, for example if I see a Micra I think ahh old woman or takeaway driver and usually I am right
This is what I think the average Gen 7 owner is like based on the people I have seen driving them: middle aged, quite well presented, probably quite interested in cars but more how they look than anything else, I think they would work in an office environment just below middle management maybe HR or sales/tech support and probably never goes near the redline, is happy to tell friends/colleagues how sporty their car is but have never driven it in such a way to find out or get the most from it.
In fact apart from JAE I don't think I've seen anyone under about 35 driving a Celica in the wild?
Now I know there are obviously some exceptions to the rule on here (most of us in fact) but It'd be interesting to see what demographic of owners we have on here:
I'll start
I'm 24, have loved cars since I was about 9, I work in an office providing service delivery and pre sales to a number of UK based and international customers on bespoke mobile technology
You can add another tick next to your name I'm exactly the same, loved cars since I could remember 24, work in a hospital as an office teamleader, love the sporty look of mine not overly fussed about the power,

The bulbs are fairly bright that are in place but I'm sure I'll b asking mr clause for a hid kit this Xmas

These:
Rated as 5000k, and I can vouch for that as I have them. They've also got built in heat sinks to prevent overheating and short life, as seen on every cheap ebay LED bulb I've bought. Highly recommend them!
That's great thank you have just ordered them

Oh come on guys, leaf it out now he was only branching out for some emotional support as it shocked him from the root up
(Couldn't resist sorry)

Once you get it moving, don't keep undoing it. Undo it, do it up, un do it a bit more then wind it on again etc. Works any dirt or rust on the thread out of the nut you are taking off so it doesn't build up
Thanks Alex fingers crossed as can't warrant paying a garage to change my disks and pads just because I couldn't get a bolt undone

Thanks guys found plus gas on the world of the bay so will order some up
I Do need to get an impact wrench soon as well
hopefully a lil lube and gentle persuasion it may budge ( sounds kinda wrong sorry)
-
Is there another products people can suggest that is ideal for removing seized bolts please?
Got a calliper bolt that just won't budge
