  1. Not recommended - unless you can remove ALL of the water used in the flushing process all you will do is dilute the strength of the super expensive replacement coolant. (unless of course you have access to an air compressor to blow the water out).

    If you want to flush something then choose the radiator and disconnect both hoses first.

  2. An extractor shouldn't have any problems removing them if they've only been in a few months. If doing it yourself I would recommend getting the caliper in a vice. Carefully compare the broken nipple to a full sized and drill carefully.

    I always open bleed valves using a six sided socket. This ensures that the force is applied

    evenly and reduces the risk of rounding.
