Firstly a merry Christmass to you all and a happy New year 2014.

I am an electrical mechanical engineer all my working life 30 years, I have allways been a petrol head Japs Cars and good old classic fords (capri) i have 6 capris of all shapes and cc,s . stop laughing.

Jap cars 4 of
GT4 WRC No 2883/ 1994 model.
MR2 Turbo mk2 which i have just rebuilt engine included.
Supra mk4 3000 manual reqiures paint to finish.
GT3000 Twin Turbo 400+bhp 1996 GB model red minter.

I have just joined this forum with the hope of recieving good feed back about some of the issues with my GT4.

I bought this car knowing there was an engine problem, i pick the car up tomorrow Saturday' from near manchester.
The intentions is to repair the known engine problem Knocking big end, it only knocks when you come off the throttle ?,
I shall investigate this next week as i have a couple of days off .

The collection of cars has taken me about 20 years plus to collect, I must say some times it has been very hard work to find the time and restore the Jap Cars And classic Capris Mk 1s 2s 3s= 2 off each they are now going up in value at a concidrable rate better than money in the bank i think !

Anyway back to the Jap passion. or at least the GT4 I like the tech side and the power side the looks and practcal side the car has, fuel side maybe not so much but it is a good trade off for the driving experiance the GT4 Has to offer, ,

Will try and keep this GT4 Project updated and and just a big holle to all on the forum here,
