Sounds like a stuck thermostat. If it's stuck open the engine will be cooled too much by the air when driving along but when sat in traffic or just idling at standstill it will pick up back to normal temp.

Ask the seller for the V5 Document Ref number. You can then look at the MOT history back to 2006 online. That way you can check the mileage.

What version of the BC coilovers are people running. I'm after a set for my ST202 which is my daily. So want something that is comfortable.

This is a very handy site. Shows how different tyre sizes will compare, even the speedo differences.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I always check seller history, and he seems like a standup guy with 100% feedback. Other problem is he won't be there when I collect as he is at work.

Won a Gen6 St on Sunday, and have organised to collect tonight. Anyway the seller gave me the address so I took the opportunity to check it out before collection. The eBay listing had good high res images which showed (what I presumed) the condition of the car. We'll lets just say it's not as good as the photos. Both bumpers have damage, a dent on the n/s rear arch and a smashed wing mirror. I got home and checked through the images and none of this is in the photos. Then I noticed the tax disc in the photos is different than what's on the car now!
So it appears the seller has used older photos when the car was in better condition to sell it.
Ok I got it cheap and it's more of a parts/project car. But some of the bits that are damaged I wanted for my GT. I'm in two minds, whether to walk away as the car is not as described or get the seller to knock off some cash due to the damage.
What would you guys do?

Go to www.willtheyfit.com and enter the alloy specs. As et and j figures are linked. For example an et45 6j alloy and et45 7j alloy will sit differently due to the difference in wheel width.

This is why I copper grease the contacting face of my alloys.

Why not try VHT Wrinkle piant? I'm doing a few bits in my engine bay with it. Good up to 177C temp wise. Produces a really nice effect as well.
Just google it.

Quick question guys.
Can anyone tell me the centre bore of a 2007 set of Superturismos? I know I need the inner bore to be reduced to 54.1. But I need the other figure to order a set of Spigot rings
Any help is greatly appreciated
