Get a set of OEM lights & split them. You can fit your own halo's then. I've done two sets & it's worth it

Can you not just uninstall tapatalk from your phone apps list?

I didn't go right to the edges of the panel bud cos my brother-in-law advised me of that very fact.
ORC I think I must have got the "hint of brown" Astral black. My mate painted my bonnet scoop using a lacquer & the match is bob on so it looks like that's the way to go

Used grey primer Darryl. I'd never have thought of white! It's been compounded with Farecla G3 regular, Menzerna Intensive Polish 2100 & Farecla G10 super fine compound. I've compounded the whole panel too Daytona but just can't get it blended in properly. It's proper shiny but just not quite deep enough black. I was trying to get it finished for the Scottish Car Show on Sunday but it's lashing down with rain so I can't get anything else done! I've got clear coat so I might just give that a try after Sunday. Thanks guys

Afternoon all. Without going into too much detail, I've just painted the rear panel, passenger side, above the wheel arch, due to rust. It's been polished to within an inch of its life but there's a very slight shade difference. Paint was professionally mixed to Toyota code (astral black 202) but I was told that colour doesn't have a clear coat. I think that is exactly what it needs to deepen the colour of the new paint to match the old. Am I mistaken, talking bollocks or just plain stupid? Any ideas, suggestions or ridicule would be welcome. (Well, not so much the ridicule maybe)
Cheers in advance, Iain

I think that's what the small transponder chip does bud

Ask them if they have Dutch Silver in the powdercoating bud. That's what I got on mine & it's super bright! BTW £168 for four is a good price. Mine were £210 but that was me leaving the tyres on

Yeah bud, bubblewrap would be fine. I'll let you know how the finances are nearer the time. Cheers

Don't scrap them bud. I might be interested if you'd wrap them for a courier but it wouldn't be till the end of the month maybe. You'd only get a tenner a wheel maybe anyway for scrap

No maybe about it lad

What about these... They come in 17x8 - ET33, gloss black with a polished lip.

Yeah bud, that's the kind of thing I'm after. Yet another decision to make. Get them now or wait til the better weather!? Cheers though

These are the ones I was looking at.
I'm really after a set of black ones with a polished lip. I had them on my car before & I miss them. The only ones I find seem to be multi spoke & I prefer the 5 or 6 spoke look

That's a no go then. I'll just have to keep looking for wheels I like in the correct fitment. And Daytona, I've never worn a shellsuit in my puff, thank you very much! Plus, I'm only this age until tomorrow

Thanks for the replies guys. If I went with 4 8.5J wheels would that be better? I really don't want to mess up the handling & I certainly don't want to roll the arches.
-
Hey all,
What width & profile tyres would I need to get for 8.5J & 10J 17" wheels? I've seen a gorgeous set on offer with the staggered fitment & thought it might do away with the need for my spacers. I'd rather not stretch the tyres too much although a little stretch might look okay. Offset is ET 25 on the 8.5J & 20 on the 10J. Car's a Gen 7 by the way.
Cheers, Iain
