Still have yet to receive a wave from anyone! Oh actually, there was a grey gen 7 on the oncoming lane waiting to turn into a road on my side, I did wave at him and he did wave back, but I think he thought I was letting him go. If that was the case he would've been pretty confused when I didnt and just drove on

defo congrats, now you have a reason to upgrade =)

I waved to an oncoming fellow gen 7 waiting to turn into a road once and I got a wave back. Apart from that, all the other celicas I've seen I do make an effort to wave but don't really get a response lol

Hi All,
As the title says, just purchased some alloys on ebay for a decent price, but not sure what model it is. I've been told that they are Smiths alloys, but not too certain about that.
If you guys are curious, the tyres are:
1. 215/45ZR17 91W Avon ZV5
2. 215/45ZR17 91W Autoguard SA802
3. 215/40ZR17 83W Kenda Radial Kaiser
4. 215/40ZR17 83W Kenda Radial Kaiser
Another silly question, when I get them, the 215/45 should be the rear wheels, and 215/40 should be the front? Or does it not make a big difference?
Thanks all

Hi All,
Recently came across some alloys, and I'm wondering how they would look on my lagoon blue Gen 7 celica? What do you guys think?
Also, could this happen to be a member selling these alloys?
Thanks

Yeh, I'm having trouble finding any stickers and gel infils online >.<

Hi All,
Regarding the celica logo at the back, would you recommend gel infils or stickers for them? I've heard that stickers are less likely to be scratched and is the recommended option, so I'm curious as to what other people would recommend.
Can anybody also recommend any places to purchase them, whether they are gel infills or stickers?
Thanks

Would be a more attractive advert if he had written it with better grammar and not just in one paragraph though lol
HID Headlights - Everything you need to know // Legalities of HID's covered.
in Consumable Parts

Hey guys, just a question. I fitted the HID's probably 3-4 months ago, and it was great.
However last week when I was driving back from the airport I drove past a salt spreader and not sure if it's that, or whether it was something else, but a few days later i noticed the passenger side HID is out. The day after I went to switch headlights on, and both works perfectly fine. But then now the HID on the passenger side doesnt work again, and it's being very temperamental.
However when I started the car a few days ago, I noticed the stereo didn't turn on. The car started fine, but it seems to not be receiving any electricity at all. After driving for 10 minutes, the stereo decided to come on, on its own.
Now because of the stereo issue, it's making me think there's a problem with the circuiting which affected the HID and the stereo. Am I correct in making that assumption? I was only planning to take the HID's out and make sure everything is well connected. Apart from this, I'm not sure what else to do to check for problems other than buying a new kit. Before I buy a new kit, can anyone recommend anything I can do to check for issues? I heard there could be some issues with the ballasts of the cheap HID kits, mine are the £35 ones from ebay, not sure if it's classified as cheap or not o.o
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
