Strangely the OP's ideas are fairly close on for me, IT professional from out of uni where I did music but I red line her plenty and I'm female too! I have a thing for any jap cars from the 70s 80s and 90s and early 2k. No idea where that came from not my family but I do love driving! Started with fords (never again), but my mate was selling the Celica to buy a Triumph stag when I was looking for a new car after my Mondeo died. Tested, reminded me of a mk2 mr2 I had driven years ago and I'm hooked

Ahhh the innocence of youth Back before everything had to be either Unleaded or Diesel, Leaded 4 Star was the 3rd option. Classic car owners now have to add pour in additives to every fill up to turn unleaded back into leaded petrol. As a Gen 7 type he is insinuating that our Gen 6's are of an age to be 'classic'! Which I personally take as a compliment...I bet the 7's will never achieve the same status

Does that mean that when your headlights are off you shouldn't flash people? Or does it always use the main beam to flash?

That makes sense! Seeing as we use them so infrequently might it be better just to go for some nice aftermarket Xenon bulbs?

I'm looking to get my headlights tinted so was going to go 4300K to maximise output. I presume they're both H7 but know nothing about these things.

Sorry can't stand Vauxhalls, would never buy another Ford (Fix or repair daily... very true in my case ) but my Celica has 103000 on the clock and still feels solid and is the best fun car I have ever owned!
