  1. U have 2 Gen4's Shaun? Any tips in the snow, buddy?
  2. Interestingly, when I had a BMW turning the traction control off (or put a dead body in the boot) made it easier in the snow. If I was caught out in the snow in my Gen4, is there anything I can do to make it easier in the snow? (Obviously I don't have space in the boot for 4 winter tyres or justify snow chains) More fun making doughnuts I guess?
  3. Interesting? So, only mid gens are fine (5/6) and older and the newest is not? Any reason why?
  4. Well, looks like its defo gonna be poor weather over easter then. Not good for my Gen4 Have ordered a 1/2 cover from Hamilton Classics now - will update here to let folks know what its like. There is a nice one for BMW 1series with side-mirror cover too for £40 - but the Hamilton one sounds better for me baby
  5. Subaru forums love snow! BMW / Mercs hates it What about FWD Celica's (apart from GT4s)? And RWD Celicas?
  6. No need to hide - I don't hide my grey hair either
  7. Good to know there is a supplier in the UK But, I don't see a complete hood for the Gen4 on the site? If there is one for a power hood for sub£250 - I might actually go for it - rather than wait for mine to leak Yes, I was worry abt that AND the shipping for overseas Just scouting for bits and bats in case I need them
  8. Is this cheap? http://www.convertibletopguys.com/convertible/615/1987-90-Toyota-Celica-Asc-
  9. Cheers mate I will have a lookout for those double-layers u have mentioned. Something like this?: http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B001QT3TSY Ignore that, that is for indoor - outdoor is twice the price!
  10. Hello, I am undecided whether to take my car to my parents in Bristol over the Easter 4 days public holiday. With the weather being unpredictable recently and possible forecast for snow as well, as well as a potential fuel strike, I am inclined to take my Subaru Legacy 4x4 running on LPG to Bristol instead. Anyway, I was looking at this: http://www.hamiltonclassic.co.uk/acatalog/CoverConvertibleCarTopCover.html Was wondering if anyone can recommend me a 1/2 cover for my vert? Does anyone also know what size I should get (if Gen4 not listed)? Many thks!
  11. Hi, Have a few stitch repairs on my vert. What is the best way to check if the repair is good? Is there an alternative to stitches (or something to apply to the stitches to make it even more waterproof and permanent)? Thks!
  12. Cheers pal! Will keep a note of them and will certainly try to get u a discount when I use them! Thks for this recommendation! Martin has offered to have a look at me new motor - had a choice between Martin and YVS (similar distance and time) - I will take me motor over to Martin just to keep his new business busy And possibly use YVS from time to time, since I venture to Leeds quite often.
  13. Hi mate, Is this them? http://www.jacksonsofsilsden.com/ and Venoms: 30, Brownroyd Hill Rd, Bradford , BD6 1SA Cheers!
