When I was working in the 90's I lusted after a Celica but work, family and lack of money prevented me from fulfilling my dream.
My wife suggested I buy a Celica for my 70th birthday and I have never regreted her idea. I love my car and hope to keep it until I can no longer drive. Everytime I look at it I smile like a cheshire cat and when I drive it I am in heaven. In nearly three years of ownership its never missed a beat and only cost me two new tyres and a battery.

Yes I see four or five Gen 7's around Chester and every time I got to Manchester a see a fair number. Perhaps we are the Gen 7 capital !!!

I have just returned home from a weeks holiday touring the Lakes, County Durham and Northumberland. During a trip of 800 miler I never saw another Celica. Where have they all gone ? If the numbers are falling shouldn't their value be rising ?

Just seen an RAC product called CATACLEAN advertised in the Telegraph. It says it is a tonic for your engine, improving performance and economy, reduces emissions and results in less carbon build up. Has anyome used it and if is it worth the £25 special offer ?

When I worked on a steam preserved railway we always used to buff up the paintwork of the locos with diesel. It worked a treat

I fell in love with the GEN 7 when it first came out but could never afford it. After nursing my mother thru a long illness and paying her fees with the proceeds of her house, I inherited a measly £5. A cruise or a GEN 7 ? The Gen 7 won and I have never regretted my purchase. Even the wife likes it although she is amazed how much I care for my car as I have never been a car freak before.
My best ever buy apart from the £10 spent joining all you guys on this super site. LONG LIVE CELICAS

If its a small dent I recommend the Draper dent remover. Its vacumn based and costs £6.85. It worked on my dents OK.

Has anyone tried Morrisons 97 Octane Petrol ? My local Shell garage has closed and I have tried Esso Premium but it seems useless
