poly front and rear for a road car......the race mounts are great performance wise but they do transmit a hell of a lot of vibration into the cockpit. doesnt bother me becauseracecar but if i drove it daily. nooooway mannnn!

So I tried a full Race front Engine mount on the 7 this weekend.
Since I have had the Stage 2 cams the idle in my car is very lumpy and erratic, and you could see the engine moving about in the bay on std mounts. This new mount gets rid of it entirely, it just sits there solid, with only slight vibration as the rear mount is still standard at the minute.
As this mount is pretty much solid, it does transmit the noise and vibration straight into the cabin, which isnt a problem in my case, as i dont run the car on the road regularly, but I would probably go for the poly ones if you use your car on the road regularly.
So performance wise, the car seems to transmit the power to the tarmac allot easier, i have a diff, so i never had much trouble anyway, but it now seems even more crisp.
The most noticable difference for me is launching off the line. the engine doesn't bounce and i get no wheel hop now. Pound for pound a great mod. would highly recommend it. especially you drag racers.
Another little benefit that I cant seem to work out, is the gear changes seem alot more solid......why i dont know, but they do. lol
Top marks from me!- 1
