On Ebay
OBD2 code readers are about £12- £15.
The one I have is now only £9
Cheers for that

Anyone point me in the right direction to the obd reader I'd need for my gt,
Never owned one so haven't a clue where to start lol

Thought it would be a good idea to have a place where members can post up pics of the first celica they owned, also a link to any old build or mod threads connected to that car.
I always enjoy looking through old pics of members cars, always makes me want to buy another gen 6 lol
Anyway here's my first celica, a 25th anniversary gen 6, loved this car and I'm now on my 3rd celica.

Don't k&n make the trd filters? I'm sure that was the case with the gen 6 ones

I bought a genuine Toyota 190 back box, cost about £290 with the gasket inc, not sure about 140 prices

i usually like to travel lite with minimum load but I do like to tinker when I'm about too and also in case of any eventuality s what minimum tools would you recommend carrying in the boot I can't remember whether my gen 7 came with a tool kit but I'll have removed it anyway?
Yeah they have a tool kit, mine has a 10mm spanner, Philips screwdriver ect, i also carry a multi tool with sockets and screwdrivers

Just noticed on the side of my block alternator belt side i got a small sticker that says use iridium plugs only. Anyone else got that sticker?
Yeah I've got that sticker too.
I always keep an eye on carparts4less, they always have a discount code so works out cheaper than eurocarparts

I have a new set of stock springs sitting in the garage..but then it may devalue the GT.
I was thinking this burbs don't think I could do that to a gt, I'd feel guilty lol

I've never been that bothered but I've started to notice now and my girlfriend can't stand being a passenger haha
im looking for a Lexus soon

Would fitting a bigger profile tyre to my gt help soften the ride a bit?
I've got Avon 215 45 17 on, would 215 50 17 help at all, would they even fit the arches? And would they look crap and too big?

Ordered some custom seat belt pads last week and they just arrived!
Leather with red stitch, red gt logo with white outline.
Well happy with them

I always get 5L of triple qx 5w 30 for my gt, I used the same oil in my 140 but 5w 40 and 10 w 40 when I had my gen 6.
You can get it really cheap when offers are on at carparts4less. I change the oil and filter every 6 months

The TRC and VSC lights come on whenever the check engine light goes on. Mine comes on each time for code 0420 which is from decat
I'll buy one and see if it throws anything up.
i did notice that my MAF sensor had a bit of plastic missing just under where the rubber O ring sits, replaced it for a spare MAF I had and car seems smoother, so could of been that!?
Which obd reader?
