my cig lighter dont twist lol, it's got two plastic fins either side of the block where the led light goes into. was only wondering bout the sanding coz my wrap is sticky on one side, almost like a sticker lol, and it aint that sticky

how the hell do you get the ciggy lighter completely out??? also did you sand the parts down a little so the wrap sticks to it better?

good moaning all, today is the day i get to wrap my center console in 3m carbon fibre. i've got the console out but now i'm wondering how to fully dismantle every single of my Gen7 console. i'm sure someone has done it before....... can anyone guide me through please

another update, got back from London at 320mls on the clock and still have 3 bars left on the tank. now bearing in mind i have been doing some licence taking speeds over the last few days (100mph+) and i or the forum do not condone this! but to have done this and still have 3 bars on that mileage for me is a serious plus!!! next tank will be better coz i'm back at work lol

Just a quick update, but wow! Lift feels more aggressive!!! Left a Ibiza gti and a new 320i standing at the lights hit lift one very gear change and I was gone, let's just say I got a very big smile on my face from that but a ever bigger one when the guy in the 320 followed me back to my. Dithers house and stated asking me if it was modded, my reply was........ Sorry but no it ain't just a 190 standard, he could not believe it!

So far so good, covered 80 miles and the engine pulls better runs smoother to so one tick in the box!

ordered my can's worth, i'll be testing it on V-Power and doing 50miles a day. maxed out at 330mls without BG44 let's see what i get soon. the big test is when i drive over to Germany late november, 368 miles there so let's see if i get there on a tank or not lol how often should it be added to the tank though? is it a one off thing or after a certain amount of tanks worth or miles? tbh if i get 20miles extra out of my tank i'm a happy chappy!

glad i live by a beach coz loaw and behold my windscreen was wet this morning, and well................... GLAD I BOUGHT THESE BAD BOYS! no noise, no judder and a spotless windscreen!!

KEEP IT! looks awesome! only thing i'd do tbh is get some bigger wheels to fill those arches right out and get the wheels flush with the arches. then imo you'll have a sick ass show car! great example of less is better!

just fitted my aero wipers that arrived this morning. ordered them friday mid day so I'm well impressed with the delivery times!!! got them from http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/ not sure if anyone else has them. but i'll let you all know how they get on with my Gen 7 over the next week or so. BRING ON THE RAIN!!!!!

I bought the turtle wax ice pack for £13 a couple of months ago and it ain't failed me since, and I got the soap, wax, spoke applicator, cloth and interior leather wax/polish. Not bad for halfords tbh. But you can pick up the 5ltr bottles of super triple soap wash on eBay for pennies if you want to put a little more effort in.

snow tyres is the way forward. and will last a hell of a lot longer, so if kept safe during the summer months they will last 2-3 years easy. using them is law in Germany from late October till march. when i phoned my insurance comp and asked if it would add to my premiums, no it won't coz it's a safety feature. so happy with that!
