love gen6s
hate gen7s

-
polishing will only make shiney bubbles just a case of sanding back till smooth and repainting or source some decent silver doors and fit them
-
3 or 6 for me
-
i would personally add lacquer to make it abit more durable
-
my gen6 gt is on 168k and thats doing fine, sounds sweet as a nut and start 1st turn of the key every time, just ignore and enjoy it, if your looking after it, nothing should fail
-
the gen6 at 0:52secs is off this forum theres a mod thread somewhere where theyve done shed loads to it, be they never came back to finish the thread off
-

beading shots on my old car
-
get some wax on there as it looks like theres nothing sealing the paint as the water is clinging to it, but other than that it looks good
-
off briano
and got this the other day
-
make it out of anything you like
-
they only come on the gen7s iirc, the only way to get one is to make your own
-
as bee said.
Put 2 nuts on. lock them together then unwind it out by turning the bottom one only.
Mind you you'll probably need to get new bolts after.
you get all new bolts with the powerdeck spacer so theyll be going in the bin anyway
tell me how it feels once fitted mate, dont forget to reset your ecu too
-

-
i priced up a wrap for mine and was around £1500
-

ill be using the federals on my track wheels, wouldnt really use them as a full time on the road tyre as there more of a track tyre, so will wear down quicker, i use yokohama parada spec 2, rate them very well, been using them for the past 5/6 yrs now, cant fault them in wet as many do, there just a good all round tyre
-
Think people have too many misconceptions about coilovers and harsh ride - get decent set and as good if not better than OEM
i heard coilies were super stiff, but when i put mine on the hardest setting it wasnt as bad as everyone says, cant see what all the fuss is about
Dont know whether to do track or not

i went on combe about 3yrs ago now which was my 1st time on the forge action day, and never had a problem, so i would do it if you want, the only time youll crash is if your not concentrating or are going far too fast, ive seen stupid mistakes over the yrs there, and ive only seen 1 car wipe another out, its mainly 1 car crashes when they take a carner too fast, the last one i was at my other half went out on track and loved every minuite of it and there was over 25 cars on track at once
