i checked out se7en quite a few times, actually i think i talked to se7en at japfest. i would def trust them with my celica . i just need to save up and decide what i want first.

haha but the supercharger looks so good and i can get up to 20 bhp! lol.
i think ill take some time over this winter and run some things past everyone.
-
your right i have no clue about cars thats why im putting his reply on the club to see what everyone says lol. but i will admit i did get a bit excited at the idea of new products coming out.
sorry there are mods on the internet for the celica but when you add them up next to the mods you can get for honda type r, nissan skyline etc its not nearly the same what sites does everyone look at?
i sent him a reply. it will be interesting to see what he says. so far everything ive got ive run through the club and ill do the same if he suggests anything. they seem like a company with a good name to them, "torque developments international"

im finding it pretty much impossible to find mods for the g7 celica on the major internet sights.
i asked a jap specialist garage near me if there was anything they could suggest while they fitted some springs to my car and this is a paste of the reply ...

Hi Joseph,
Thank you very much for your enquiry.
Yes we can install your springs and brake pads for you. The geometry will also need to be recalibrated afterwards too.
We do have a range of tuning options available for this car, and there are some very significant new products about to be launched too.
Please let me know if I can be of any more help.
what could he mean by "very significant new products" ?
anyone heard or read anything ?
ill replying to him after this post.. see what he says

well its a bit delayed but im heading to santapod the first saturday in september. i stripped out the back of the car. took it for a small drive and it had actually made a difference. i was really suprised

for the last 6 months or so i have been working on the looks of my car (not very computer wise once i work it out ill try and put a thread up) more pose then power i guess lol. but i decided i needed a direction to go with the car and i got that need to go faster lol.
its the 140 engine so i know i will spend my time looking at peoples break lights but still has anyone got any advice for me? like how to find a good starting rev point or just anything really so i dont look like a lemon out there.
im going to the rwyb at santa pod in august. who knows if i really enjoy it i might start stripping the car out and everything . been looking into an engine swap to 190 but thats something for in a year or two. i would swap cars but spent so much time on this body that it would be a killer to lose it

hey mate. it might not be much help but i drive the 140 and i went for cobra. it had a deeper sound to the scorpion. sounds great when you put your foot down or just taking it steady but also its not stupidly noisy when your at a stand still too which i love. basicly really happy with it. o yeah and it fit really well to. we had to cut the pipe a tiny bit (car end) apart from that was an easy fit...... well for my mate that i watched fit it
im not sure which ones they have for the 190 but i was happy with their product

i bought a second hand body kit and now im saving up so i can buy materials and have a few days off so i can fit and spray it d.i.y. style.
my knowledge on this amounts to about 5% lol
i could really do with any advise or past experiences with this.
my friend has a sprayer i can borrow which is a start
the kit is damaged so i need to repair it too.
i pretty much need any and all advise on this please before i jump in the deep end next year.
please dont skip on the small details even if its what leg i should stand on to spray lol
thankyou

2nd reply.......The cost will depend on the length of time taken to do the work, but I estimate approximately 4 hours at £340 plus vat.
We’re in the testing stage of a newly developed cylinder head and camshaft package for this engine. Cosworth has just launched some interesting new engine components too.
not sure why the font went funny there lol.
