  1. On a ramp it's literally a 10min job so they shouldn't be charging anymore than a hours labour max.

I changed my post CAT in less than half hour on axle stands, but the pre CAT was a bit of a pig to get out. Had to warm the engine up & keep dowsing it in Double T (wd40) before it started to budge. Have a go yourself, if they're not too ceased in there then it's simple ;) but if they're are a pig to get out then just head to the garage.

I'd really rather not do get under the car, I know "nothing ventured nothing gained" but.. Nah :P

  2. Be careful with all these "halo" things.

I had halo headlights in my old Escort (Don't laugh) and they were weak as piss water, only powered by a single little LED thing at the bottom of the ring, hoping to illuminate all around the halo, didn't happen unless it was 1am and completely pitch black.

Saying that, if you did get some that worked like the BMW ones where the WHOLE HALO is completely lit up... i'd be interested.

  3. i have seen them fitted to a few cars, and evey standing a few feet from the car u cant tell if anything is fitted or part of the rim.

Yea but when you DO get up close, people walk past.. They just look weird as hell, like some kind of teeth brace you get in school.. But for your wheels..

By all means go for it, ita your car, but I wouldn't recommend them
