Loose wheel nuts? Worth the 2 seconds it takes to check
-
You don't want a 2nd set of wheels just keep with the tyres means you get to roll with your sexy wheels on all year round
-
My TE37's weigh about 9 kg if memory serves. 17" 8J
-
I'd definitely take that, can't see a member paying more than that
-
I know it's clithé but a private plate really is only worth what somebody is willing to pay, especially something so specific aimed at a very niche market.

When replacingHID's can you just get a new bulb? From what I remember when I fitted my HID's there was no way to remove the bulb..?
-
They also hve a wider variety of power, the cheaper ones don't do 5000k which is what I wanted. Also apparently all the connections and material are better
-
Yea the bulbs will be the same but the housing I'm guessin is different. I dunno, but there is no movement in my bulbs?
Ill pit my pics up tonight
-
I also didn't suffer from the wobbly headlight bulb business. Anyone that's bought the canbus kit will know the headlights fit ridiculously tight straight out the box.
They're twice as expensive, but I'd recommend them. You also get a 2 year warranty (which I've ruined on the first day, by splitting the wires )
-
I'm now running HID's, so it's official, if I can install them. Anyone can.
I made a fucking hash of it and even had to tape a wire up as I cut one when I tried to slide it through the holder! Fucking great.

Part 1 of renewing all my lights on the 7 ready for winter:
-
Wiggling the bulb? Surely it should fit snug with no movement? Otherwise it's gonna be bouncing around whilst driving?
Did you not buy the bulb holders?
-
You didnt need to canbus-pro ones as they're normally only used in cars that use a current/resistance to check to see if the bulb has popped, one these cars fitting the hid kit would make it permernantly look like a bulb was out and show as a fault on the dash.
the sidelights that I have in mine are....
and they are really bright
Apparently the Canbus are better quality, and also come with 2 years warranty, and also do the correct colour that I was after

Triple the wage? Fuck yea!

I agree...the police get a lot of stick and have to do a hard job with little support. I have to say that although intitially appearing a little on the grumpy side the Traffic Police were actually very good - no sarcasm, just information (and very courteous)
x4 ... My Dad was in the Met Police for 30 odd years - its a tough job and not one I would want to do.
Both my uncles are police officers, doesn't change the rest of them though. I am even interested in doing it myself, but still.. that doesn't change the rest of the jobsworths.

You can clearly see the difference between fogs and DRL's, I'm no cop and even I can see that one
-
So wtf is the cops problem then? Idiots
-
I'm guessing you're the guy that fitted his DRL's in his fogs and we all told him it looks like his fogs are on? Lol

Updated.
- Added a recommendation for HID bulbs (eBuyBox on eBay). These bulbs are £25 including delivery and are far better build quality than my previous £40 ones.
- Added an eBay store to avoid due to faulty (flickering), poor condition items and poor customer service (MaxAutos on eBay). Do not buy these bulbs.
Gen 7's are H7 aren't they? So if you use eBuyBox we can only get 6k? That's a shame..

That's one thing I NEVER get in the green machine
