  1. You didnt need to canbus-pro ones as they're normally only used in cars that use a current/resistance to check to see if the bulb has popped, one these cars fitting the hid kit would make it permernantly look like a bulb was out and show as a fault on the dash.

the sidelights that I have in mine are....

and they are really bright :)

Apparently the Canbus are better quality, and also come with 2 years warranty, and also do the correct colour that I was after

  2. I agree...the police get a lot of stick and have to do a hard job with little support. I have to say that although intitially appearing a little on the grumpy side the Traffic Police were actually very good - no sarcasm, just information (and very courteous)

x4 ... My Dad was in the Met Police for 30 odd years - its a tough job and not one I would want to do.

Both my uncles are police officers, doesn't change the rest of them though. I am even interested in doing it myself, but still.. that doesn't change the rest of the jobsworths.

  3. Updated.

    • Added a recommendation for HID bulbs (eBuyBox on eBay). These bulbs are £25 including delivery and are far better build quality than my previous £40 ones.

    • Added an eBay store to avoid due to faulty (flickering), poor condition items and poor customer service (MaxAutos on eBay). Do not buy these bulbs.

Gen 7's are H7 aren't they? So if you use eBuyBox we can only get 6k? That's a shame..
