that's fairly cheap to be fair!
although you'd only spend £50 odd on sandpaper and paint to do them yourself.
-
I did mine too, one weekend. I did use a spray gun on mine but it is so much more hassle! I'd recommend just using rattle cans as you don't even notice the difference too much.
you just need a spare set of wheels or axle stands obviously if you plan on doing all 4 at once.
-
oh.. right.
in that case, bye bye celica.

Get the TRD/GT kit and fit that. Instant sex.
If you're looking for more power on the cheaper side, get stage 2 cams? £650 fitted i think and gives you 'lift power' from 4k i think? Tempted by that myself.
I've got the same sort of issues as you though, rattling annoys me. I plan to put some roof flashing and closed cell foam all around the inside lining of the boot. I believe taking your rear seats etc out will stop some rattles but will also give you a serious amount of road noise through the back.
Brakes are poor so I'm doing the Avensis brake upgrade this weekend.
As far as the crows feet go, not much you can do unless you plan on re-lacquering the whole thing.
Alloys, either buy a new set for fairly cheap people are always selling them.. or refurb them I bought a set of team dynamics, refurbed them gunmetal grey and then sold my originals so total spend was only £150

Isn't it all to do with the octane rating? Higher the better.. So obviously if you use a lower octane level its bad for your car and for the performance.
I heard in Japan is the only place you get full octane petrol, next best is Shell V-Power.
I personally have never used it because I'm still only an apprentice and can hardly afford the car! But i try to use Shell only as they're, from what I hear, the best quality petrol providers..

Do you spray them too? How much for the full set with the spats (fibreglass) in white?
if you could list each cost as well so i can change if needed..
cheers

How hard is it to do really?
Isn't it just like applying a vinyl or window tint? Spray on some water or something, whack the carbon on.. then squigee out the bubbles?
Although I'm sure it's a lot easier said than done, like i found out with window tint..

2 Problems.. you're asking whether you should buy a BMW on a Celica forum (always going to be biased) lol
and if you're looking for a CHEAP runaround get a 1.2 corsa or something that gets you from A-B but doesnt cost anything to run, insure, tax etc..?
As you said its just for now, it will give you more money leftover to save, get your place, then get a tip top car when youve got the money. I've now learned the problems of trying to buy a nice car on a lower budget. It can be done but you're left wondering if I waited just a little longer I could have got this, or got this etc.

I'm guessing there extremely expensive if they build them up each time?

Maybe get a capacitor as well to aid your system?
Especially if, like mine, when you run your sound system all lights flicker and dim as the bass kicks in
Going to invest in a capacitor soon which basically is a battery, runs the sound system off that battery and the car battery just charges it. Keeps lights from dimming and protects your battery.

remind me never to buy a car off you

I've done it a couple of times..
Namely before I went Traxx, in at 2:30, up at 4:00, cleaned the car, on the road by 5:30

could be that your throttle body is too tight? as in the wire running to the pedal, can be loosened in the engine bay right next to where you can press accelerator?
i had that and when loosened worked..
-
On the plus side.. was one of the cleanest cars I saw in the whole of Greece.. wasn't too hard though.
-
All the paint was a bit dodgy, mods were badly done..
Didn't see the guy driving it but I'm sure he's a goober.

Any help?

Is it okay just to take the top of the engine off then? Or are there certain things that need draining or anything?
Is that the same with calipers? Heard they need draining?
