its not beyond saving dont always beleave what they stick on an mot test certificate i got told my pipes were corroded yet all i did was clean them up and take the crap off them and they have passed one of the stricktest mot places going for the last 3 years some say rust this rust that a good wire brushing and if the metal is good under it treat with krust and repaint worst parts on these are the sills outer and inner window wipers probably need new blades jets probably just need a needle stuck down the hole brakes you can service then a dam good clean up even that dent in the rear you could probably take most of it out yourself

there was also one in egam just out side stains if anyone lives that way

still have to be declared to your insurance company as its a modification to the standard setup of the car from the factory and would be a get out clause should you have an accident and not have declared them

get a gen5 and you could probably pay for the insurance as well out your pay out

measure the width of the hole and you have your answer

you will need to set the tension yourself but like the ps one just tighten it until you can get half a twist out of it

if i remember right you need to take the aux belt off first as the power steering belt is behind it

did you have a good look at the belt and when was it last changed any signs of oil on it at all failing that it does sound like the pump might be on its way out so will need replacing

take photo first so you know where to put the fuel needle back on at temp should just go back on at the place where you remove it from as in 0 rev counter start the car let it warm up and take a picture where the needle idles at then replace once done speedo leave front plastice cover off drive down the road and reset using your satnav speed setting

Have you checked to make sure the smd is working by them

get the smd bulbs in the same size much better light

dont strip it get the engine replaced im sure there will be a few members willing to come over and help ya have it done in a day no probs

To tighten the belt you will need to get under the car lossen the two bolts that hold the pump in place and then lever it back away from the block and tighten the bolts back up I set mine so you can just twist the belt have a turn

Would take the cap off the bottle and check it's upto the correct level often looks like there's more fluid than there actually is in then

i used this stuff on my front bumper came up really well once polished

electric drill with wire brush attachment in it then put the drill into a vice on full then just maneuver the rocker across it to strip the old paint off

And you know it would be ridiculous because it would be kept ridiculously clean lmao
