  1. cheers fella, just need a dry calm day to get that done.
  2. i have a PIAA sitting in the box must get it fitted, with the gen 7 you have to take off the passanger side wheel and pull plastics down do you need to put any more wiring in or just connect up whats already in place? must do it cause the horn is crap. loving the train horn though.
  3. Good idea, be good to catch a worthwhile offer like discount codes and short time offers in any places. The groupon the other week was good
  4. It depends what your plan is with the car, I had my underside completely stripped off then all sand blasted and all parts powder coated or replaced, under side of car was wire brusehed and then under guarded so its protected for the long term. Bushes where all upgraded to poly you can get these from FCM motorsport and do the work yourself, I did mine as I intend to keep this car for long term its a project but it was not worth doing if only keeping car for a year or so, get yours on a ramp or a decent jack and have a look under it. If your thinking of long term do some if short term I would not waste your money.
  5. really feel for you fella, think forward get re learning and make the progress you need to get back on top, it does work and brain games work really well, playing cards and scabble also, guy that used to work for me had one and he did not stop with all he did and is now back on his feet with little loss. maybe in time look at passing the car onto your son if he really likes it or another family member to maintain it and look after it for you, such a shame to sell it if you really dont want to as its a goal to work to and if its gone it may feel like a knock back, so i would hold onto it. keep us up to date with your progress and i wish you the very best.
  6. not sure but it works better in some places than others, was at the lakeside meet the other night and it startd up when i was in the pub so i could warm up engine before, at home i park up the very end of my road at the moment and it works from house, its a clifford module which has been fitted into a different alarm system, i can program it to do other things like run on after driving for turbo cool down which is one of the reasons why i got it as thats the way i will go next, it has tons of features to enable but i dont use half of it, the hoilday mode runs for long enough for battery to be toped up, not sure how it all works i just left my mate who rus a install company to fit it as i had enough of people going near it when parked elsewhere. as it has a warning sensor so if touched alarm sounds off.
  7. No system stays secure and alramed incase of theft, but can start and leave car running for 10 minutes then shuts down again, it also has hoilday mode so when away for a while car will start and run for ten minutes to stop battery failing later. its quite cool really for winter.
  8. never left a car in gear, dont with the celica as i have auto start, which i have been using these last few days as its so bloody cold.
  9. http://www.rotashop.co.uk/grid-18-x-85-front-and-rota-grid-drift-18-x-10-rear-matt-bronze-set-of-4-wheels-drift-series_p1040627.htm http://www.hotlinetyres.co.uk/18-alloy-wheels-291/?page=14&sort=2a&osCsid=m9odsfaoqfnlch1qiqulce7dqf2micvt http://www.alloywheelworld.co.uk/product.php/9599/rota-grid-8-5x18-quot-alloy-wheels-finished-in-matt-bronze £790 inc http://www.uvworldwide.co.uk/alloy-wheels/rota-wheels/?sort=2d&page=1 http://www.kentcustoms.co.uk/acatalog/sitemap.html take your time in finding the best price and customer support i would stay away from the ebay user top_geer, he was found to be missleading sales by showing a lower vat rate and then charging more for the wheels after end of auction without telling you, also links to a ultralite wheel web site selling rota rims but i lost the link, only know this as mate works with Customs and excise.
  10. i would buy better, its your wheel and i dont trust alot of un named brands even more so if its holding my wheels on, try ultralite or blox wheel nuts. but that is just my opinon.
  11. that is on the US forum, if you find the post there is a link to the seller but if i recal he only did a limited number. think its on http://www.newcelica.org somewhere under gear gators as they call them. if you find it link it up as i am sure a few would like them
  12. Have you also got under lights in purple wouldn't mind a bit of info on those if you'd be so kind
  13. I was always told a good service will always improve thr house power. Don't know how true that is but my car always feels better when serviced
  14. If its really dirty get some gunk foam warm up engine spray on and pressure off. I've always done it but cover up the electrics and air filter. And I then always spray a little caccoon spray over as it displaces the water.
  15. is this simular to the Lucas oil products as well? for engine wear and what not. have seen more about lucas products than sea foam but both are supposed to be good at what they do. http://www.seafoamsales.com/ http://www.lucasoil.co.uk/ one i have more use of in motorbikes and boats it has worked really well.
  16. I'm looking for somebody to do a set for me but in purple anybody able to get purple ?
  17. Had one back in 2001 it was a 2000 W reg IS200 sports, great car rear wheel drive nice ride great hifi cheap to insure and the dealers just look after you so well, servicing cheap back then £130 for a full service. good size family car instead of going for a 3 series BMW or a mondeo or the like. well looked after ones will run for years, down sides alloys are bad for corriding but get them done and they last well. quick enough to get you past most if you go for the v6 3litre one. its all personal choice though.
  18. terrible shame, when any life is lost, hope they find the cause and the family can move forward and lay rest the loved ones they have lost.
  19. Costco selling them as well now under 7 each Goodyear made very good no noise and cheap
  20. Where are you in the country ? I would like the boot plastics done then will move around the rest of car panels as and when. Let me know what you can do. Pm or reply on here is fine.
  21. I dont mind helping you out, im near maidstone if thats any help, amp kit wont take long and i will have a look at the leds you got to see if i can get those in as well, hardest thing is running cables into doors so if your needing that it may take a couple of hours to get everything in. drop me a pm if you want.
  22. That's for Tins's benefit liam I've got mine fitted
  23. i think they have them in stock its not a groub buy mate, they are placing a big order of normal stuff but as i was ordering my anti roll bars today they told me they will be ordering next week so i thought i would post it on here as you save 10% give tina a call on 0121 374 2185 they only take 50% off total order price and its expected to be here end of june, when i bought my braces a couple of weeks back they did have some stock left so worth giving them a call to check.
