Hey all just had my car washed at the local hand car wash I have used them for a few years now. So went there today got the car cleaned drove home got out to have a look around and noticed the car is scratched left right and center works out about 8-10 scratches all round the car and roof. So went back around there and had a moan as you do and they said they will t-cut polish and clean the car for me. Am I being over top in thinking that's not good enough t-cut will wear of after a month or so and it's not good for the paint am I right? Any help/advice apprechiated Thanks lee

Turn up with both parts of your licence pay them the money and your of to the strip mate its good fun I done it last year in my gen7

hey all i got a new rattle today (great) it only happens around 2500k and 3500k. its a fairly fast sounding rattle coming from the right hand side of the engine under the battery. (ie) gear box area spoke to mac211 neil he kindly looked it up for me and came back with thrust bearing i think he said. the sound goes when i engage the clutch just want a few more opinions and if it is whats a good cure. gear box oil change? neil also mentioned redline gear box oil he also see when looking it up for me any input appreciated

Yer that's not a bad idea might do that then thanks mate Not seen the oil drainers might just go for the bucket in to original container then take it to the tip

Ha ha pikey over the drain it is tempting lol. Yer that's not a bad idea a quid for a bucket can't go rong I'll grab one of them I always find the problem is getting the bucket under the motor with out jacking it to high that all the oil won't flow out

Cheers fellas I'm going to try and do it the weekend me poor cars so ratlley at the moment really needs it. And yep using engine flush got some castrol magnitec if that's how you spell it lol what do you's use to catch the oil I used a sink basin and I got covered in the ficking hot oil lol

Iv had a look round found the oil filter. Can't rele c the sump nut is there a opening in the under plastics or do ya have to take them of

My mates got a st 150 they look gd for a stock hot hatch I had a race at Santa pod I only had a induction kit on my sport 190 and done him by other a second my mates corsa c with a Sri astra engine put in it done him aswell so I don't rate them in straight line performance but down contry lanes he left me for shit the lower down torque and cornering done me over

Yer as far as I no it does save a bit extra fuel I do that most of the time when I'm really trying to save the petrol I drop it in to 6th around 35 and it seems to make a fair difference but its boring as hell lol
