  1. Rattles are the main issue I have with the Gen 7; though it'd help if my doors would stay open when I'm getting out. Nothing like getting home from work with a load of files to carry in when the door won't stay open  The door mirrors dripping water is a pain as well, makes getting a good clean a pain when you have water lines from the mirrors.

Yeah I noticed that as well. The door has to be open at a certain point for it to stay open, which isn't ideal when the doors are quite big and you've parked next to someone. It's either half open to stay open or fully open, those are the two options lol.

The rear wiper "spray" or fluid is just the most useless thing ever as well. It just dribbles out.

  2. So I'm driving a 1997 Civic Coupe atm and I feel like I'm driving a van and the steering is horrible, but the brake feel is tremendous. The G7 brakes are truly terrible, I feel so confident stopping in the Civic, the pedal is stiff and bites straight away. If there's one thing I really dislike with my Celica, it's the brakes.

So be honest, what do you dislike about your Celica?

  3. Seeing her gleaming as I drove up to rtp is amazing. I was like "where is this place?" then BOOM I see your car, I didn't even care if that was rtp I was going over to look anyway. Taras was going through the work on my car but I was more interested in your car tbh haha. I might have had a sneaky peek at the work being done on yours too... Shiiiiit lol. I didn't have time to read it all. My car's going in tomorrow so I'll hopefully see yours again. It's just amazing in the flesh mate, pictures don't do it justice at all and considering how good it looks in the pics that is something!

  4. I got my Carbon bonnet from Ray. Good stuff i can vouch for his stuff, top workman ship. Ray does loads of Carbon Fiber stuff, poylurathane and glass fiber product, also bodywork, and wrapping, hes based in london just off the end of the M4.

not sure on his single unit price as i got loads of stuff from him on a deal. And his website www.RT-performance.com i think is still under re-construction!! send yellowchinaman a PM if ya need anything from him.

    Matt.

Seen your car when I went to RTP on Fri. Gotta hand it to you mate that is a lovely looking car, looks stunning in the flesh B)

  5. Not really. I respect any car that has been modded to go fast. There's a load of turbo'd Corsas around where I live, and yeah, they get a thumbs up from me. People may think that it's just a shitty Corsa, but they'd probably whoop 90% of the cars on here :sofa: In a straight line tho...

Or any car that has had a load spent on it. But it has to look nice.

And expensive cars. They're nice to look at, but a lot of people envy people who have them, and call them show offs. But if I see an exotic car on even an M3 or an RS4 or something I'll say fair play, they've worked hard for that. Like my mate saw the new Focus RS and the lad driving was giving it some, and he called the guy an idiot. The car's built to do that, what's the point of getting a fast £30k car if you're not gonna use it??? Obviously there's a line, but he was just going in a straight line. Everyone on here does stuff like that.

TBH, other Toyotas are boring. Yaris is just another small hatchback, Prius has aids, Corrola is just another hatchback kinda blends in with the other hatchbacks, RAV4 nah... Supras and Glanzas are cool though B)

My next car probably won't be a Toyota if I'm honest. Since turning 21 the insurance on 'fast' cars has gone down to something acceptable. I can see myself moving on in the next year or two.

    Nissan 350Z... Hello :D

  6. Feel like a right tw*t. Scraped my passenger side door on a concrete pillar at work. It looks horrific :(

I'm praying it looks worse than it is, because I was able to get some of the dust off by my finger and spit, so I hope it hasn't gone through the paint. People were saying coz it's concrete the chalk left by it will make it look worse. I hope they're right.

What do people advise I do? I was thinking of cleaning, clay bar, waxing and polishing my car tomorrow anyway. That won't do any harm will it?
