Triumph Spitfire or GT6 ftw
Used to have a spitfire, rattly rusty thing it was,but it never let me down and i loved it to bits.....thats the thing with classic cars, common sense tends to go out the window, you heart rules your head...it's just a brilliant feeling driving around in something thats survived all those years, the smells, the primitive brakes...its all part of owning a classic...as long as they keep going you'll always have a smile on your face.

Well it ticks the retro box and the cream (ish) and red box...oh and it is cute

Well its cream and red
If it's going to be a weekend/2nd car tell her to go for something pre 1973..free road tax ....classic cars can also be insured for next to nothing.

Must admit,i hated the thought of an auto, that was before i got the cabs.....but,they are really good, put your foot down and they fly, great fun

£5 every other day oh and ten fags usually

I bought one for my 5 by chance just this week, saw a
car on ebay, noticed it had a tonneau cover,so i emailed him and he agreed to sell it me,£60,and to be honest it is mint..noticed he hasn't changed his listing,so to who ever gets his car the tonneau cover is on mine
Saw that one on ebay,he says its not for a 5,and i thought the 6 tonneau was more "bulbous" than that, and i think the gen 4 tonneau is more flexible leather/vinyl type....could be wrong though,it might be for a 6.
Must say though if you can find one i would recommend it.....they make a huge improvement to the look of the car.

The wife was embarrased when we went shopping, went to pay and produced my black right hand
I'm pretty sure i posted this in the vert thread.....maybe because it was my third attempt i lost concentration ....oh well,it's like a ghost town in there, more people see it in here .
Like i said, when the site's back to normal,i'll write it up properly.

Firstly, great work, a tenner well spent! Secondly, I share your pain, I've had that happen several times now.
Thanks ....sat here with a black hand.....really should have worn gloves
-
Just to add,i did write a full guide as to what i used, and how i did it (twice) but the site kept crashing
When the site's more stable i'll write it up again....just to say,for the small outlay (£10) the results are well worth it
looks good
Thanks...it's not perfect, but it looks loads better,i'm well pleased
The laptop nearly went through the window when the site crashed....took me bloody ages to write up what i used ect.

How many miles does your Celica cover in a week?
in General Celica Discussion

About 25-30 miles a week.....more at the weekend/evenings if the suns out
Tend to use the wifes car for mundane stuff like shopping.
