I've been adding Millers Petrol Eco Max over the past few months in my 140.
Now getting 38-39mpg mixed driving, last year it was 36-39.
Halfrauds sell it for £13, about a tenner off the interweb so it works out cheaper and also means I can carry on using supermarket petrol - Nectar points, innit.

Like for like, not aftermarket.

Have you asked ams if he had any doors fella ??
Yeah, £45 for the door, £100 for door + fitting.
-
How do you change the door lock?
-
Didn't know that!
-
I wasn't sure about risk going to body shop or new door but you guys have made up my mind.
How much is likely to cost to get a door fitted?
-
Found this on the bottom corner of the passenger door when I washed the car:
Thinking about it let alone looking at it makes me feel grim

I was close to getting an Ibiza FR but the Celica G7 has bags of character - better steering, better gearbox, proper sports seats, better feedback.
Build quality is a generic term? What do people mean exactly? Jap engines are regarded as bullet proof and better than German engines but Jap cars have inferior interiors.

I'm hoping to do a partly motorsport related Tour of the North in September/October.
200 miles up to Liverpool, Isle of Man then across to Newcastle.
I wonder if anyone might be interested popping off to IOM at a few weeks short notice?

Sadly most Celicas are owned by grumpy old men who never wave back or grumpy old women who look at you like you just took a dump in her prize flowerbed or something. Waves are only given to CCUK sticker holders
LOL! Seems true most of the time.
Had a guy wave at me in Northampton, nr Sixfields at the end April. Hello!

Except the celica was Tsuchiya's favourite car! that was a real shock.
Criteria for judging is also based on handling and ride which is why 'stroke' - the up & down movement of the suspension is mentioned frequently.
Noticed the Altezza gets mentioned a bit on the forums.
They said the same about the Altezza which was up against Hondas.
Edit: Altezza appears at 7m27s

Enjoyed watching this Vid... keep posting for more,,, They do like the celica but needs to be lowered... Will not handle well thou if lowered  And the eg6 being a 10yr old Car, all the carpet got rotten...,,, So he didn't cheat... :D
There's loads of JDM related stuff on that channel. Just search for 'Hot Version' and 'Best Motoring' within the channel.
And yes, Tsuchiya-san and co generally don't go for Toyotas unless its the AE86. Definitely prefer Hondas.

Touge* Showdown 3
*For those who don't know or haven't seen Initial D, touge is refers to a type of street racing originating in Japan's mountain pass.
-
Crikey, you guys must have balls the size of melon and built like a brick.
I would never do delivery in a Celica. I've had people pull out knives before.
-
Celica nicked from Oakham/Rutland and then used as getaway car.

Only other Toyotas I respect are MR2s, Supras, Yaris (MkI), Hilux & AE86.
Unless you're after a Chelsea Tractor (which I hate anyway) the others are dull, boring MOR cars.
-
Sorry if this sounds daft but did you fold your mirrors?
Judging by the prang on the doorI too would say that it looked like a drink driver or joy rider. Must be one hell of a numpty to hit the door and take off the mirror.

Alfa Romeo Brera - no kidding http://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk/alfa_brera_guide.shtml

I don't understand why people have the 'Neverbeen' decal.... if you've not been, why have a sticker to say so?
If i did that to all tracks, my car would be covered in decals!
I'm a racing fan, not just F1 but anything with 4 wheels and goes round a race track. I've even been to watch lawnmower racing!
I have a Le Mans decal to remind me that I need to do the 24hrs, and a Spa Francorchamps decal because I've been wanting to do a road trip across Europe visiting old F1 tracks - Spa was originally much longer and passed threw a couple of villages.
On the rear shelf I have Bridgestone cap, Shell cap and Dunlop cap. If I owned a homologation car like a white GT4 I'd be happy to stick replica decals on them.

Pug 106 1.1
Pug 106 Quicksilver
Pug 206 1.4 16v
note. the Pugs I managed to own were solid, nowt wrong apart from normal wear and tear. Fearing my luck won't last I wanted something different

I've got a Nurburgring decal.
In two minds whether to put on before or after I bust my 'Ring cherry.
Sealant for spoiler?

Can I apply sealant onto spoiler that's already been srewed down?
I don't want to undo it because its a massive PITA.
