P0420 its the post cat sensor, OBDII and Torque informs me, 02 bank sensor below efficiency. Unsure of cell count on the cat.
-
If I was to do this I think I'd need to fit some spacers in to see if I can stop the CEL coming on due to the sports cat. Or could this solve it perhaps?
-
I'll be heading along to this for the sunday, got a track night at knockhill on the saturday (good bye tyres)
Hoping to hit 15.5 in the 140

Can't vote *forever alone*
-
No they aint - mine was genuine article with big box marked up with TRD markings , TRD paperwork ect
mind my asking where you got it from?
-
Hmmm, them folks on NC.org seem to think the genuine TRD ones are rare as rocking horse shite.
Where can I get something like this then, other than second hand?
-
Check this out. Apparantly 1 of 4 in existence. Think one of our trusty cf supplier could do something like this? Who's game?
-
Chris, edit me out of East Lothian and stick in Berwickshire. Thanks.

Kei are pretty good as far as Ive heard. Not sure about the weight thing unfortunetly...i have always wondered what the bench mark for heavy vs light is.
Thing to remember too is that tires will add weight too

obvious suggestion: Clasic Celica! Ra28
-
Triumph Spitfire or GT6 ftw

No special care needed really for the real stuff, it should have a layer of laquer or resin or something, best speaking to your supplier for better information on their exact product.
-
i picked this up and didnt notice this article, didnt buy....that may have to change. Kewl stuff!
-
Hmmm still in two minds, if they aint got it right by now, will they ever? And now its going to start costing them money they have less incentive to do it right.
Really nice guys and stuff and they do good work I've seen it, they always have Astons, Range Rover, Lexus and they look spot on.
I think the opinion of another body shop would be valuable for sure, I shall go to a back streety one i worked at. They did a full body kit and front end respray on my metallic black fiesta with no spray booths, mechanics working near by etc etc and not a spec of muck in the large area of paint....
Might try to get some pics of the worst bits

Need some advice on next steps, here's the scenario:
Bit of damage when got car.
Took to reputable repairers
Wasnt quite right, took it back, still not right, repeat 4 times.
So, car has been back 4 times to this garage and its still not right, theres bits of muck and chips in the paint/primer. either the laquer or paint hasnt been blended properly and you can see the sanded texture through the paint, theres lines at the panel joins where they have masked badly, and i could go on.
Bearing in mind I have worked in bodyshops, at every stage in process, am I being pedantic? Should I go back again? Am I expecting too much from having paid once....
-
Very minor but nothing that's difficult to sort.
Just does nothing for me.
like dis???
-
I thought the same about the paint, then I read on and its just primer haha!
-
Check this out. I think it is pure awesomeness!

IVE GOT IT
Its a Celica. That last clue was a bit easy

Friend of mine who trolls on Driftworks linked me this with some cool cars, they have a trader link on there.
So my advice would be speak to the blokes on Driftworks as there actual importers from Japan on there. AFAIk the Yen is a bit wobbly at the moment, ive just bought an exhaust from Japan and it was quite a difference in price depending on exchange rate fluctuations
Having not done the car importing myself, but only considered it, thats the best advice i can give.
Oh, maybe give an importing company in the UK a call, you'll get the spiel of Yen is crap blah blah but ask the questions you need answered and im sure they'd be happy to help if they're nice

I did an 880 mile round trip in July. Edinburgh to Newcastle, ferry to Amsterdam, drive to Spa-Francorchamps and camp for 4 days to watch the 24 hours of Spa, then on to the Ring for 5 days in an apartment, 2 laps of Ring itself and drive all the way back to edinburgh.
Barely used 2.5 tanks of fuel!
