as far as im aware an immobiliser with remote central locking was standard on a '96 UK GT, if its an import remote central locking was an optional extra.

Use mine to watch south park on break at work

Spoke many times to my insurance about stuff like oem parts, from what iv been told by them if your replacing like for like you dont have to declare, if your retro fitting an optional extra you do have to declare, if your putting on a part from a different model/trim you do have to declare and the same goes for aftermarket parts.
If you do have to declare a modification keep in mind most insurers charge an admin fee of around £25.

i dont like when i spray the windscreen and the window is down i get a wet arm. Also get fed up with been asked the question 'whats the fastest iv had out of it' as its usually followed by 'i can do that in my 1.1/1.3 fiesta/corsa/saxo'

Inspired by a topic on Pistonheads iv just address of the previous owner of my car into google maps and would you know it, there it is.
For some reason it has no spoiler in the picture but it looks like the gunk is still on the bootlid

iv got 205/40 tyres on my 17" t-sport wheels, when my speedo shows 30 my sat nav shows 26 which is exactly the same as my old standard 15" wheels.
I would rather it be a couple of mph fast as a just incase with all the speed camera's i pass through.

64 miles going to work and back a week for me plus another 50 or so miles a week doing my day to day stuff so it say around the 100-150 miles a week
When I had my last job I would clock up about 10 miles a week on my daily commute then another 40 or so driving for the hell of it

the challenge is your Celica outside a motorcycle shop or dealership.
Here you go
I work next to a place that does bike repairs, they usually keep all the bikes outside during the day so i could have taken the photo there but I decided that the Yamaha dealership would be a lot more fitting for a Celica.
Next:
Your Celica next to a car made before 1980, pre 1980's Celica's DO NOT count
-
Next pretty simple challenge...your celica with a laptop computer on/in it, with CCUK open on the screen of course.
Next Challenge:-
A pic of your Celica with a jar of marmite on the roof
any news from the crew at rs this year ?
