  1. Had 3 Mk1s (2xST, 1xGT) for about4 years. Then a red Celica Supra for a year. Then another Celica Supra in silver for another year. After that (Celicawise) a Gen5 GTI for about ten years. Bought GF an Import Gen7 which she still has in the last 6-7 years. Had an Import semi auto Gen7 for about 2 years and now have a storm blue manual Rotrexed Gen7 for the last 3 years or so.

  2. My gearbox man also recommended ATF. Very shortly after the rebuild I trashed the two third gears. Don't know if it was the oils fault but the broken gears weren't the new parts that I replaced, they are ok. Now with the two new parts in I'm experimenting with cocktails of different oils together like the Yanks. I've got the thin ATF to the thick redline shock oil in the mix. I'm going for the properties as to viscosity and see what the outcome will be. Wish me luck :D

  3. Se7en said he will not run them if you have them in you car. I've read crewchiefs thread many moons ago. I want you guys as the end user to actually tell me what are the improvements/differences are. I've personally not used them. But I did advise a member here was using Halos or Brisks that had moderate levels of knock to return to NGKs and all was well. Btw most guys who didn't run well with the Halos were boosted so just wanted to know what benefits the NA side got from them.
