Wings were fitted last night fit isn't to bad couple of bits need tweaked. Will get pictures on today

I'm running 16" wheels on my 5. 215/45/16 tyres. gen 7 wheels do suit the 5 better than the 7.

Quality seems ok hopefully the fit is as good. He can do gen5 rear roof spoiler in carbon for£200 or fibreglass for £70. Rocking horse poo might be easier to find now. Lol

Not a great picture but. Cs widebody wings done in black from the gelcoat. Should have them Monday so will update with quality and how well they fit

Definitely cheaper messaging him through Facebook I got a pair of widebody wings done in black from the gelcoat for £128 delivered. Paid them and had a message about a week later to say they were almost ready to post. Just waiting for a message to say they have been sent.

It depends on the tester it's partly down to their discretion. I took my old ss11 in twice and they failed it ended up putting a bung in to pass. Took it somewhere else the next time and they passed it no problem without the bung

You REALLY need a c/s front bumper , actually would be better if you could find an jdm r/c bumper , and it would be really cool if you could find an r/c bumper with jdm yellow fog lights fitted in the side grills and gen 6 spats

yeah i do like the rc bumper. ive been looking at a front mounted intercooler so the bumper will have to come off.

Don't the clocks finish at 110 because the car is Japanese and limited to 112 ?

yeah mate clocks do finish at 110. thats first on the shopping list i think.
Nice car, what size Toms are you looking for? I have a set of 15" possibly to small for you though

celicamojo has some rims for sale i think and he is more local to you than the rest of us
worth a PM to see what he hasshame about those toms rims. I regreted selling them the moment you bought them, but you know how it is when you need fundage

im just going to start looking for wheels and exhaust at the moment both are standard. want to get the clocks sorted out to it only has 110mph on it 
guy reckons its a bigger turbo thats on it so will see if i can find anything on it to look up and check.
it drove back perfect today was quieter than my ss111 inside

A is narrow body, manual windows too?
no mate elec windows and elec adjustable seats its got the 10 speaker sound system in it as well. i just had a quick look on wiki says 1991 gt4 a wide bodied with the live sound think the A is somthing to do with that.

turns out it was the same one that was on gumtree a few weeks ago with no mot for £500 in glasgow. guy from carluke bought it motd it and gave me it in a gift
i got it for £250 and my ss111 couldnt believe it.

just picked up a h reg st185. full years mot and totally standard jap import. still reads in km and its had a cheap conversion for the clocks. but apart from that it starts and drives perfect. its a gt4A. is the A just because its a wide body version? if anyone knows. pictures up tomorrow when i get a chance to get some done.

i get around 40ish with the ss111 doing around 80 miles a day round trip to work. and i dont sit at 50

Realistically , unless you are looking for something odd/rare that didn't have a uk version ie , old school skyline etc , then the cost and hassle ain't worth it , there are a lot of good 185s still , I noticed a pukker red gt4oc r/c with nearly every option fitted for 3-3.5 , for that price you would struggle to get any 185 imported
3-3.5 would be nice mate. :rolleyes: realistically only looking to spend around 2.5k if possible. ive seen a few but every one is miles away from here. looks like mark3s 185 in essex is going to be it. will need to source another interior tho as the back has been stripped as it was going to have a half cage fitted. 3-400 mile drive back with the car should be fun tho

yeah the paint is shocking. prices might be reasonable for a decent 185 but finding one up here is impossible thats why im thinking of travelling down to essex for one

only prob with these sites they dont have many older celicas. im really looking to see if i could import a st185. its going to be easier and quicker to just get one from the uk. mark3 has one im interested in so looks like that will be the best option.

no worries mate. it was just a thought i had earlier about importing a gt4. i shouldnt have days off i get some strange ideas when i have to much free time.
