going for adjustables mate. couldnt find much for an st202 on there

ah that could be the prob then. he had the pads that came with the calipers. he did say my calipers were. f**ked. i think is the technical term he used was. no seals and badly worn pins. going to need carriers either way.

spoke to the guy doing the calipers when i finished work. i think from what he said its the pads that dont fit. old calipers were back on so couldnt have a look to see if they could be ground down to fit

got 17s on it just now speedo is about ten miles an hour out as it is mate. think its a cheap set of dials that was put in before i got it they dont have a price for them. but they can get them. ive to fone back monday morning for a price.

cool are they much more expensive than the standard kyb?

where would be best place to get gas kyb rear shocks for my st202? was going to lower it but want to put 18s on. so think the gas kyb mite be easiest solution.

yeah it is mate havnt got it off yet tho. it would need painted. when i got the car i noticed it looked like something had been spilled or sprayed on it. there are tiny little holes in the paintwork just at the end of spoiler on one side.

that would be great mate. im still trying to get myself some uprated suspension. mite have to stay standard hieght if i get the 18s tho. are the gas kyb rear shocks that much better than the standard kybs? any idea?

soon as poss really i got the old calipers put back on today. felt like someone had cut my legs off for the last 2 days cars been off the road. got the skirts fitted as well. prob with the c-one rear spoiler bolts sheared so going to have to get that repaired as well. not a good last couple of days for stuff getting done. hopeing i have enough left at the start of next week to get a set of 18s that are for sale on here to.

ok worth a thought. alan only has stuff to do one caliper so looks like im going to need other carriers before i can get calipers fitted.

would the carriers from a st182 fit? anyone know. i could take them off mine i have had it stuck in a lock up since i got the st202

i do need carriers then i cant get just pins. fen sport do pins but only for the gt4 do you have a set of carriers mate?

im not sure but where are the slide pins on the calipers? are they part of the caliper or the carrier? reason for the change in the first place was pins are worn on mine and calipers rattle badly on a rough road. that would be every road around where i am. yeah defo an ss11 first thing i checked when i got it.

havnt got a clue mate. mondo reckons i need the uk gt carriers but alan clogwyn says the should split as changing pads and the twin pots should slot straight in.

im half way through getting twin pot calipers fitted to my st202 non super strut. anyone any idea where i can get a set of uk gt carriers as i need them before i can get it finished. getting conflicting info on if i need uk carriers. been told they are the same as i have and been told i need uk ones! not sure what i need now. valium mite be an idea!!! lol

i looked at getting a full rebiuld done on my st182 its done 180k still running sweet tho. full rebiuld up here local place is around 500 quid. well worth it on the gen6. less hastle then a change you never know what you have until its fitted.
