never had any prob with rust on mine was as clean as the celica. 2.2 vtec was nice tho think mine was about 230bhp great fun ended up stripping it and taking it to crail. 13 on the 1/4 mile was well impressed.

swapped a 2.6 audi coupe for my first gen5. both worth around the same then a few years ago tho. bought my 2nd gen5 for 400 quid with 3 months mot on it. that was about 5 or 6 years ago its still going as well as most new cars and its done 185k now. paid 650 for my gen 6 import last year with 90k on it. spent maybe 1k on the gen5 and closer to 1500 0n the gen6. if you like celicas price doesnt really matter you can usally find a good one for a decent price. and you know that every morning it will start. and will put a smile on your face when you want it to. and when mot time comes around unlike a ford or vauxhall owner you wont need a welder on stand by.

alcohol wipes is a good buy. will stick much better if you use them first.

found some 3m di-noc ca-421. 120cmx150cm £84 quid. if you can do better pm me mate. i can get the whole spoiler wrapped for £85 in glasgow. but would be 20 in fuel to take it and havnt seen any of the stuff they do

found a company called bossdog in glasgow. guy i spoke to campbell said they would do the c-one spoiler for 85 quid. best price ive had and no chance of me cocking it up. hahaha. said it would take maybe three hours so i think a trip to glasgow in the very near future. nice wrapped spoiler to go with the bonnet i got from nix. cars getting there at last.

celica every time. ive had 3 325i,2 328i and a couple of 320s kept thinking there must be a reason everyone wants one. good fun being rwd but thats about it. i always had audi and bmw just to play with then bought a gen 5. ive had 3 gen5s still got one thats done 185k and runs like new got a gen6 ss-11 now and wouldnt even consider having another bmw. gen6 is the way to go mate. but remember the gen7 comes with a man bag and a set of crimpers and combs as standard.
