  1. Someone from Yorkshire were selling copy dynamic lips for half the Mr T price - also unpainted, they also do the dynamic skirts for a similar price too. They can paint them for a fee if you give them your paint code. Maybe worth asking if anyone has bought these ones, just for quality/service etc. See link below for skirts, they seem to have stopped doing the lips for now maybe, but maybe also worth e-mailing them as they were selling them for ages.

Minx's celica - do my eyes deceive me, your indicators have a blue tint - where d'you get em?

    Cheers Rad.

That's Stu Allatt at Carlton autos (goes under different name on ebay) they do dynamic skirts, lip & valance. He has also just moulded from my genuine GT lip so that's also available now, quality & service was top notch ;)

  2. Hi gang,

Have managed to get a possible new owner who would be looking to join up also. Hes looking to have a look at this in the next few days:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.u...c#ht_500wt_1156

Ive told him all the obvious stuff to look out for, lift bolts, vin stickers etc. Anyone spot anything wrong with it ?

I was wary about the 56k done and he text checked it to have 5 owners, kind of makes me think its a reconditioned

I was looking at this the other night, looks fine to me. It is a 9 year old car so not unreasonable to have had 5 owners, 1 or even 2 of those could've been garages registering it aswell? Mines a 03 & has done just a little more mileage, so again nothing to worry about. Looks tidy, new tyres & aux belt tensioner are a big bonus, so factor in a lift bolt change & could be a steal if you get it £3750 cash.

  3. What a great day, thanks to all for making it there in the bad weather. I was in two minds whether to call it off as it was heavy snow in Huddersfield when I got up at 7am to wash the car :-) Didnt wash the car, just had a longer sleep, but the snow kept coming.I passed a snow plough in action as I joined the M1, the fast lane was unusable in parts. I think I made it there about 10.10am so only 10 mins late but I was still the last to arrive!

Anyways thanks for the great write up Rich and the vid of my car seeing as though I couldnt work my new phone and the movies I took had no sound.

I was really chuffed with my result, especially seeing as though it hasnt had an oil change for 6 months and I think the air filter must be 18months old lol I did three runs and came out with an average of 175bhp at the fly which I am dead pleased with considering the car is almost 8 years old with 84000 miles on the clock. Will scan my graphs in on Monday and get them up!

As Rich said above, John the dyno guy had never experienced lift and described it as "very aggressive" and it certainly put a smile on his face, and mine as you could see the car surge forward on the rollers when it kicked in. Wicked!

Nice one pal, good result! Car looks Schweet aswell, really peeved I couldn't bloody make it.

  4. Throw it in a wheelie bin?

Neighbours cat jumped on my bonnet while i was waxing it last year, threw a bucket of cruddy water over the twat & haven't seen it since  Cats hate water so just super soak the bastard everytime you get an opportunity, it'll soon learn to stay away.

On a slightly more serious note, i've actually heard putting down loads of pepper in the garden is a good deterrent. Maybe sprinkle some around the motor if you're not too worried about looking like a mental patient!

  5. Hello mate. I retail NGK plugs on here, but no iridium in stock, or on shipment at the minute as everyone so far has bought Platinums.

If you need a set and dont mind waiting a week let me know.

    J

Cheers bud, what sort of price you doing for 4 x grade 6 inc. delivery?

  6. Are you sure about that? :)

AFAIK the Iridiums are far better plugs...and especially so in the case of the 2zz block.

Joe - Are you going for NGK's?

I did personally believe the irrdiums were better plugs? Just got an email back from fensport recommending the grade 6.

Yes mate the NGK's, what's your preference?
