Brian Long wrote a book, Toyota Celica (1899154027), on the history of the Celica in 1995. An excellent book, it's out of print and hard to find now.
He has written a new book, Celica and Supra: The Book of Toyota's Sports Coupes (1904788130) which is due for publication in April.
I had this book a couple of years ago and have read it from cover to cover,so if anyone wants it they can have it foc

briano, your more than welcome to store your undelivered items in my garage if it helps, maybe arrange deliveries from here as i`m smack bang in the middle of everywhere
-
wheels are 16`s,cant recall the width but tyres are 215`s and the offsets are 28
-
i miss this car , it was good to me
its still a cracking car izzy (ask briano)all ive had to replace is the front calipers as they were completely shagged and must have been binding when you had it the state of 'em,could that be the reason for a low bhp on the dyno?
-
its got 5mm spacers on the fronts to clear the calipers and no spacers on the rears, springs i got from somewhere on ebay for about £130
-
wheel are spanking gorgeous, awesome car to drive, wish i had bought it when izzy was selling
glad you liked it briano,it was also good on the old motion lotion on the 560mile round trip, returning nigh on 38 to the gallon and i didnt drop much below 85mph 4000rpm most of the way back

Nice looking motor - not sure on rims but thats not a crititism as a stunning looking car
"stunning looking car",high praise indeed is that, rims are a bit marmite but they are jdm sspeed star split rims and i like rims that you cant see manky brake calipers through them

wasnt really fussed about lowering the beams due to not wanting another celica with a harsh ride but after my lad photoshopped it with a slight drop i was sold on the idea and sourced some sport springs which dropped it 30mm which is just about right for an old barsteward like me,theres also no noticeable difference in ride quality.
if i say so myself its now got a great stance

Not sure if anyone else has picked up on this but everyday i see random people joining the club and sometimes i think they are automated bots registering

Old? Just a kid.
How do you like the Hayabusa? A mate of mine had one, I had a few rides on it and almost sh*t myself!
its one of the first bikes on a t plate before they restricted them and i thought the bandit i had was shit quick but the busa is in another league, theres only the seat hump stopping me flying off the back at anything more than half throttle at any speed in any gear its acceleration is relentless
-
had over 250 or so cars, vans and bikes but i am an old b'stard,so a few just before the celica fetish
