  1. All these rules started 1st January 2012 but not to be applied until 6 April 2012. Your steering lock is now testable. Led lights use the 50% rule so if half light when swiched on they pass. This does not count for number plate lamps with multiple bulbs as they all have to work. It was Porch that had a word with the HID law and won. So now some sports cars dont need self leveling head lamps. Brake force percentages have been raised on later vehicles. Vosa are still looking into the 4,2,2 rule for mots. First mot after 4 years then every 2 years until 10 years old wich is then every year as now.

  2. If you like corners then forget the 300zx. A mate of mine has one with some goodies on 300 bhp an yes they are a nice motor. Its the twin turbo and you cant press the go button cos it will just go where the fooook it wants. But as i said yes its a nice car an not to bad on fuel when pottering down the m way. ;)

  3. Thanks peeps...going to fab my own kit for this...not paying £100 plus

Use 20mm cable for the job. Thats what i used when i done mine. You will also need some 8mm fittings for the ends of the cable. I bought my fittings from a local industreal electrcians who prob will supply you with the cable on the cheap. ;)

  4. I don't have ABS so that won't matter.

Now I need to find someone with a gen7 GT near me that I can put on the front to match the one I have.

Or find someone with a spare full set of wheels to lend me for a day while car goes through MOT as at the moment I have 3 of my 18s on and one gen7 gt 17'

    Thanks all :D

this will get you an mot but it wont be legal if you mx them after the mot

  5. After working on engines all my working life. The term black death is used when an engine over heats to the point all the carbon build up starts to flake off into the sump due to the heat. It then gets pulled up onto the pre filter in the sump hence starving the engine of oil. Black death.
